We used John Knowles Funeral Directors at their Broughton branch, and they were amazing from start to finish. At such a difficult time when we had just lost my Dad, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Sarah Turner was there at any hour day or night for any of my queries and even a shoulder to cry on at times. They thought of everything, so my family and I didn’t have to. John kept me informed on the day of everything that was going to happen and suggested things to ease our burden. We used Fiona, a celebrant recommended to us by John for the service and she was sympathetic and spoke beautifully at the service and even sent me a typed copy of the full service to keep. At such a horrible time in our lives I really can’t recommend or thank everyone in the John Knowles team enough for everything they did and the service we received.

I want to thank John Knowles at Broughton for all the help, support and care they gave me when my Mum passed. From the first phonecall they showed compassion and understanding Nothing was too much. It’s great to have found and exceptionaly informed local independent funeral company that gave us an incredibly discreet, attentive and dignified service for our Mum Drene Smith during such a stressful time. On hand 24/7 and could not be more helpful or accommodating at under half the cost of others companies in Chester.
