I cannot recommend this company enough. Andy treated us with dignity and respect and carried out all our wishes with regard to my late husband Stephen's funeral, even the little touches asking whether there was anything we wished to put into the coffin with him. All emails and queries were dealt with straight away and put our mind at ease. The funeral itself ran very smoothly. They arrived early (my husband was never late for an appointment!). The team were very respectful and once again carried the whole event out with dignity and respect. Everyone passed comment on how well the funeral went and part of that was due to this Company.
When looking for a local funeral director, I was impressed by the testimonials left for service received from A&A Walters. This was also my experience; Andy Matthews in the Sedgley branch is extremely personable (as was Stephanie when Andy was away) and, right from my phone call on the day I received the terrible news, helped with advice and details at all stages of coping with the experience of bereavement. The firm offered all the options needed for the service we wanted and Mum herself was looked after with great respect. On the day of the service the A&A Walters pallbearers transporting the coffin were very professional and helped make sure everything went to plan, friends and relatives knew where to go etc. Organisation of the service itself, music and programme went extremely well. I was happy to have made the right choice to ensure that Mum's passing was marked the way we wanted.
The service we received from Walters for our Mothers Mary’s funeral was first class. From our first appointment with Andy at the Sedgley office he was kind and understanding made sure everything was well organised. We were confident that we had made the right choice. The staff at the funeral parlour were also very kind and helpful. The funeral went smoothly at the Church and crematorium thanks to the professional funeral directors. The floristry was also exceptional everyone remarked on the stunning red rose floral display. Cannot praise this funeral directors enough. From start to finish they were so professional. We met with Sam first. He really put us at ease and made the process so easy, it was like talking to a family member. Neil , Sam's Dad was equally as professional. Every step was made easier by the personal touch everyone added. As I said, cannot praise them enough.

We recently lost our mom. J.R. Jones made such a difficult time so comforting for us. We dealt with Emily. She was amazing, showed so much care, compassion and thoughtfulness. Even went that extra mile. Our family can’t thank her enough. On the day of the funeral David was so professional but made us feel so at ease. It really did turn out to be a special day. Emily recommended the minister Teresa Bradburn who was equally caring, compassionate and thoughtful. She delivered the service with such feeling. We had laughter and tears with all concerned. With all of our dealings with J.R. Jones and their team we felt part of a big family. I would highly recommend using their services.
