We used Torbay & District Funeral Service when my Mother passed away in March. Bonnie and Emma were superb throughout the whole process, from our initial contact, through to the Service itself. They were professional, compassionate, explained everything clearly and were always available to answer any queries we had. We also would like to thank Sharon, the officiate, who was very helpful to us for putting the Service together. Lots of people commented on the wonderful details she put into the service about my Mother's life. Throughout the whole process, the team were professional, kind, respectful and extremely helpful at a very stressful time. We wholeheartedly recommend Torbay & District Funeral Service.

I used Torbay and District Funeral Services when my Dad passed in January 24. It is the first time I have had to arrange a funeral and was daunted at the prospect, but I needn’t have been. Emma and her team were superb throughout the process, from our first phone call, through to the funeral service and burial. She explained everything clearly, sympathetically and was always available to answer questions. The whole team were extremely professional, kind and respectful throughout and helped to make an incredibly difficult time as simple and bearable as it could possibly be.

From our first telephone call to Torbay and District Funeral Service, we were met with warmth, kindness and consideration from Emma. Her help has been invaluable to us, she has helped us with so much of the organising needed for the day. Our thoughts and wishes were always at the forefront and these were always carried out in the most professional and thoughtful way. Nothing has been too much trouble and Emma has remained in constant contact with us from start to finish. It was a beautiful funeral and everything was just perfect. Thankyou so much Emma. Stuart and the staff at Drakes were extremely friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating towards us as a family, and help made the process of planning the funeral very straight forward. I wanted to say a huge thanks to Drakes for taking care of my mum. Both Stuart and Charlie have been professional and helpful from start to finish. Mums wicker casket was absolutely beautiful. The communication from them has been great. The service has been absolutely top class! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a funeral director. I cannot speak more highly of Kevin and his wonderful team. At what was difficult for us, we met with Julie, who made us feel so comfortable from start to finish. Everything slotted into place like clockwork which actually made the funeral arrangements run so smoothly. In fact, everything was taken out of our hands, leaving us with nothing to worry about. My father had the most perfect send off and we had very positive feedback from those that attended. Cannot thank you enough.
