3 Best Furniture Shops in Colchester, UK

Thought I would wait a while to write a review to be able to also comment on the the furniture itself. We purchased a four seater and three seater sofa two and a half years ago, we had to wait a while for delivery, but it is hand made and it was just after Covid, so was expected. When I contacted customer service to enquire as to eta, they were very helpful and delivered on the stated date. Delivery drivers were excellent too! Now for the quality, two and a half years of being laid on, sat on they still look as good as they did when first purchased. No sagging at all, even cushions they came with are still just as good when plumped up, no seams coming apart or squeaking parts. The matching foot stall and rug we purchased at the same time are also still excellent. I was dubious about buying from a company we had not heard of before, and I was concerned when I saw negative reviews, but I am so glad we did. Excellent service from start to finish, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again and I highly recommend this company to anyone who has doubts, like I did initially.

On each occasion that we've visited Fabb Furniture, we've been served by pleasant and knowledgeable staff. There are a lot of sofas on display downstairs, and beds upstairs. The store is clean and well laid out. Yesterday, we placed an order through Dylan. He was professional and personable, and at no point did we feel rushed. He explained all the Ts&Cs and ensured that we understood what we were agreeing to. Excellent service, thank you Dylan.

We only popped in there whilst we waited for the place next door to open and ended up buying our 3 piece suite from them. The salesman, quality of the sofa's etc, plus lifetime warranty are first class. We had made up our minds about a sofa in the place next door, but they lost the sale as they opened half an hour later. Fabb Furniture are well worth a look.

I just poped to Neptune to get a gift for a friend...i have never heard if them before but she likes them! So i poped in....and i was very pleasantly suprised! A really lovey store with loads of ideas for the kitchen, lounge ect...from candel holders to sofas! With some really nice designs and ideas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was served by Sarah. And when i told her it was a gift for a friend she gift wraped it for me and put it in a very nice Neptune tote bag! What lovely service! Thank-you Sarah! I will be back again.

It really has been such a pleasure to work with Danielle at Colchester. She has been an enormous help with our living rooms and we feel very lucky to have found her as she really understood what we wanted and turned something which had been quite daunting into two beautiful, comfortable, living spaces which we will be very happy with for years to come.
