HOLIDAY INN SALISBURY-STONEHENGE REVIEWS

A reunion lunch for 20 guests was arranged with Vivien, who was most helpful in providing suitable menus and a private room for the event. On the day, Joseph met me and showed me the arrangements. The whole function then ran most smoothly, with Joseph monitoring and dealing with last minute cancellations. We had a comfortable room with efficient facilities, supervised by Antonio. All went well until I was taken ill and admitted to hospital for 24 hrs. The hotel staff could not have been more solicitous in caring for my wife on her own and quickly arranged an extra night's stay. In short, I cannot recommend the hotel more highly in overall quality of service and care for the priorities of the guests.

The Holiday Inn in Amesbury is the perfect spot for a hassle-free getaway. The hotel is super clean and neat, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. What really stands out here is the staff—they're so friendly and helpful! Antonio, the duty manager, is always there with a smile, ready to assist you with anything you need. It's like having a friend to welcome you every time you walk in. And let's talk about the food—it's delicious! From breakfast to dinner, you'll find tasty options that hit the spot. Plus, the rooms are cozy and comfy, so you can rest easy after a day of exploring. Overall, Holiday Inn Amesbury is the place to be if you want a stress-free and enjoyable stay. With its clean facilities, welcoming staff, yummy food, and comfy rooms, it's got everything you need for a great trip.

Situated in a services but absolutely spot on the reception area is very welcoming along with the staff, check in is simple, the rooms are very clean with air con, tea and coffee, and excellent showers, the WiFi is spot on, plenty of free parking, 10 mins from Stonehenge well done 10/10 see you again.

A great hotel situated on the river Avon. The rooms were clean and stocked well. The breakfast was delicious and with everything you'd ever want. Friendly staff. At the time (August) you could rent (let) a punting boat and be carried up the river Avon while sipping on champagne. Perfect couples experience. Hotel well positioned for walking into Salisbury and to nearby nature areas. I would definitely stay here again.

Generally a very positive experience. Good sized rooms with bathrooms. Friendly staff, nice bar with restaurant. The waiter was particularly helpful. Beautiful setting by river with short walk to Cathedral and town centre.

A really adorable inn right on the river. Because it's such an old building, we expected some rough conditions, but everything was really nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a great patio out on the lawn where we could watch the swans and ducks. Easy walk to Salisbury cathedral, restaurants and shops. We loved it.

Had our third afternoon tea on Saturday 5 Oct 24, at The RedcLion in Salisbury.......brilliant! The sandwiches were very fresh and super tasty, the scones were still warm and delicious, the mini cake plate beat us!!! Awesome selection of mini cakes but to much (a first world problem!). We must mention Angel, who was the most perfect waitress and gave a great explanation of the history of The Red Lion. Thank you, awesome job. We will be back.

We had our wonderful wedding with you on 10.08.2024. Thank you for making us feel so relaxed in the day the staff were amazingly helpful and the organisation was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the food on the day which was my important thing on the day. The evening buffet was also delicious so thank you to the chefs and all the staff that helped on the day. Our accommodation was perfect, we chose to stay two nights and a lot of our guests also stayed with you. The breakfast that was included was also really good which were able to eat outside the day after the wedding with our wedding guests who stayed with us. Thank you again and we will be back for sure.

Our first stay at The Red Lion Hotel. Rooms spacious, tea & coffee provided, power shower temperature just right, bed very comfortable. Staff friendly, attentive & approachable. Perfect location in the middle of Salisbury historic town. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
