HOLIDAY INN SALISBURY - STONEHENGE REVIEWS
I came here from Brighton with my children to visit Stonehenge yesterday and staying at the holiday inn StoneHenge was the icing on the cake. From the minute we walked in to the hotel nothing was too much trouble for the reception, bar or restaurant staff. The room and bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The bar and restaurant was comfortable and welcoming and there was a great choice of kid friendly meals on offer and super attentive restaurant staff. The breakfast you couldn’t fault either and had something for everyone. They have had a magical stay here and I give all the credit to the fantastic staff. Thank you so much we can’t wait to come back!
Saviours! We had originally booked into Premier Inn Salisbury but when we arrived late last night we were told they had double booked us so there was no room!!! Saw that Holiday Inn was only a short distance away so thought we would see if they could help. Receptionist was so helpful in finding us a room (especially as it was past midnight). Rooms very comfy, will be using them as our preferred hotel from now on.
Very pleasant stay overnight, had often seen this hotel and thought it's location slightly incongruous on a trading estate! Had a very good stay, fast, efficient check-in. Squeezed into a restaurant booking after a late arrival, lovely waiting staff good variety of food. Excellent breakfast the next morning - All good.

ROSE & CROWN HOTEL REVIEWS
A charming and interesting old pub, with more modern rooms set behind. The location is great and our comfortable rooms were at the edge of a lawn, next to the River Avon, with a view of the cathedral spire in the background. This proved to be a pleasant, peaceful spot for pre dinner drinks. We had excellent service at meals from Georgie and Maisie, our helpful and welcoming waitresses. Maisie was especially helpful and understanding regarding the allergies of one of our group, checking with the chef to ensure all would be well. The menu choice is varied and the food excellent, with a "homemade" feel. A great place to stay, which I would happily recommend.
A beautiful little gem in Salisbury, ideal location for a few days break. Hotel staff were all friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Missed breakfast on last day but chef was happy to rustle up bacon sandwiches and coffee (that's service. Riverside room enabled us to sit out by the river and enjoy the lovely scenery. We will be back.
Stayed here for 2 nights, great location on river, easy to walk to centre, free parking, pleasant staff. Breakfast was good with lots of options, could do with slight updating in places but overall would recommend.

BEST WESTERN THE RED LION HOTEL REVIEWS
We had a lovely stay at the Red Lion. The hotel's history gives it such character, and our room was delightful. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel - the food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful! The location is fantastic. We will book in again if returning to Salisbury.
The location is excellent, close to all attractions, especially weekend market. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very eco, they would make the room only on request, we liked it. The courtyard itsekf is very beautiful, good for a photographer. We enjoyed staying here.
Excellent olde worlde hotel/pub/restaurant. Good value, breakfast good and staff very helpful. Room was decent though somewhat dowdy in decor. To be fair the building is grade2 listed and difficult to modernise. Would book again for sure.
