I visited with 2 boys aged 9 and 11 and they absolutely loved the Aviation Collection. They dashed from plane to plane, climbing into every cockpit and had huge fun twiddling the knobs and levers. They also really enjoyed the flight simulators. The incredibly patient volunteers were happy to explain as much (or as little) as required. Think I'd better go back and take my husband next time, as he would love it too. As it is on an airfield there is also plenty to see with small aircraft.

This is a gem. The National Trust have done a wonderful job in turning this house into an interesting place to wander around. The volunteer room guides were all very helpful and very knowledgeable. They had a real enthusiasm for the rooms and the contents. Unlike the large NT houses, there were no roped off areas (if there were you wouldn't be able to get more than a couple of people in each room at any time) and this enables you to view the contents and the collections at close quarters.

The Terry Pratchett His World exhibit is a wonderful journey through the creation of the much loved disc world authors writing journey. There are some incredible pieces from his estate rating from correspondence with J.R.R. Tolkein through to the hard drive of his computer that was steam rolled as per his last will and testament. The museum features manuscripts and artwork from the characters so many people have come to love. A touching and fitting memorial for a much loved man.
