We arrived to an amazing playground for our child. Which allowed us to enjoy the sun for a while. We then made it in to the restaurant to be seated very quickly. James was assisting us, I have never felt so valued by a member of staff in a restaurant. He is so professional and polite. He is the kind of employee that will make us want to return. Absolutely fantastic work from him serving us today. He got our little girl everything she needed and his service was exceptional. No bad comments at all the restaurant is spotless and food was fantastic.

Warm friendly welcome. Attentive jolly waiter. Very nice clean interior to the building with lovely decor and ornaments. Lots of space, nice airey feel to the place. Spotless toilets. Now to the food.. absolutely 1st class! Had a ginormous fresh fish in batter with chips with all the trimmings and nice pint. Was on the lunchtime menu which was very reasonabely priced. Excellent, will be back.

Great place. We stayed for one night over the weekend. Fab outside spaces. Inside was lovely. The food was amazing. Staff are lovely. Special thanks to Hattie. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic stay at this Premier Inn, one of our favourites (we've visited many) The staff were all really lovely and helpful. Can't praise them enough. I didn't catch all of their names, but nothing was too much for Linda. She was amazing. Location was excellent too, perfect for getting to everywhere we needed to go. Room was reallt good and comfortable. My only little issue was a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors, but the excellent house keeping team (the 2 happiest women ever) made sure the whole place spotless. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our visit so enjoyable.

Fantastic Staff All round , Big mention to Gary, Lynda and Charlie for their kindness and they know why. It’s very much appreciated. The Premier Inn might be very basic, but the rooms are comfortable and the food is great and the staff are wonderful with their genuine kindness. I will be back , I recommend this Premier Inn, even if it’s for one night or more.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff both in the hotel and restaurant. Beds so comfy and rooms spotless. It's also quiet so that's a bonus. Premier Inn hotels are always recommended!

MERCURE HAYDOCK HOTEL REVIEWS

My wife and I have just had a meal in the Bistro. Andy was our waiter who was so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection and were probably the best steak we have ever eaten. Thank you to the chef and Andy. Five star service.

Sharron was absolutely amazing tonight!! She really made me and my husband feel special and delivered a five star service. Thank you for making it a great visit! Will definitely be returning very soon.

Have used this hotel on numerous occasions due to work, and have only good things to say. Rooms are clean, and always feel well looked after by the team. I had an excellent meal this evening and received really helpful and attentive service from Andy and the bar team.
