The World of Glass in the heart of St Helens is a new award-winning Visitor Centre. They have got live glassblowing, over 30 spectacular presentations and an incredible movie presentation with special effects. This exhibition space has created a quiet area within their busy visitor centre that will now showcase their extensive program of exhibitions. They explore the underground tunnels of the worlds first continuous regenerative furnace made of glass built by William Windle Pilkington in 1887. It affords free admission. Wheelchair access and gift vouchers is available.

North West Road Transport Museum is a vibrant blast from the past with items such as buses, cars, motorbikes, fire engines, push-bikes and even a float of milk and a carriage drawn by horses. They also cater for private parties and coach parties. The museum has a collection that includes over 1000 items. It offers free, and historic bus rides to Museum visitors every month. They serve in drinks and snacks.
