The World of Glass also features two conference facilities for hire, equipped with modern amenities.There are 4 hireable spaces in The World of Glass. Reflections suite is their largest holding up to 200 guests. Their other three rooms hold up to 80 people respectively.

2025 Update: North West Museum of Road Transport is based in the old St Helens Corporation tram, bus and trolleybus depot in Hall Street in the town centre, near to St Helens Central railway station. There has been a public transport depot on the site since 1882 and the present building dates from 1898. It became home to the Museum in 1986 and was extensively refurbished in 2003. The Museum has over 100 historic vehicles dating from the 1930s to the 2000s, including buses, cars, lorries, fire engines, motorbikes, pedal cycles and a Blackpool tram. There are many displays of transport memorabilia and smaller items, and some railway relics including a section of original 1830 track from the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. There is a gift shop and snack bar. There are free vintage bus rides (subject to availability). The Museum is wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Special events are held during the year including car shows and family events, details can be found on their website and Facebook.
