THE WORLD OF GLASS REVIEWS

Pilkington‘s World of Glass is an amazing experience. Not only does it has examples of different styles and types of glass from St Helens and from around the world but also has an art gallery, a café, a mock up walk-through of street life from the Victorian era, hands-on touchy-feely exhibits, plenty of games and attractions to keep the kids amused, a picnic area by the canal, an display of actual glass blowing, and yes, even a glass museum! The museum is free to get in, which is rare these days, but there is a small charge for the car park which is right outside and easy to get to. It all makes for a great day out for all the family.

Absolutely fabulous experience, my whole family had a great time there were lots of interactive exhibits and the glass blowing demonstration was a really interesting experience, I'd recommend this place to anyone especially because it's free!!

Amazing place to go and free entry. The tunnels were good and the old side shows the hardships that the glass workers suffered. Great day out for young and old, plenty to see.

NORTH WEST MUSEUM OF ROAD TRANSPORT REVIEWS

A great place to see many of the old style buses and vehicles. Run by a friendly and enthusiastic team of volunteers. Took my two young grandchildren and they loved it. This also housed the model railways which again were amazing to see. Highly recommend you visit.

Went to the classic car show here was great, but there is so much more, vintage buses and trams, model railways and lots of history of St Helens. Also got a brew. Its a big open space so it was a bit chilly, wrap up or pick the weather. Definitely worth a visit.

First time visiting this museum and it was excellent. There's a variety of transport there mainly buses. Also there is a eating area and toilets. Outside is a good size car park ( upto 50 cars ) and it's free at the weekends.

ST HELENS THEATRE ROYAL REVIEWS

Travelled over from Manchester to watch tje Christmas panto Aladdin. First time visiting this theatre. Parked at the nearby Birchley Street Car Park which was only a few minutes walk away and was only £1 to park all day on Saturday. The staff inside the theatre were very friendly, toilets were clean and refreshments were reasonably priced. We sat in the stalls on the end of Row L. We couldn't see the far left of the stage looking directly at it but I don't think we misses anything. All the seats in the stalls seemed to be good seats. The future show line up looks good. I'll have to keep an eye on what's going to be on and would definitely come back.. As for the Aladdin Panto, it was fantastic and would definitely recommend.

Watched ‘The importance of being Ernest’ yesterday and really enjoyed it. A very professional, well acted and amusing performance, expertly involving the audience. A long time since have been to the Theatre Royal but will look out for other productions and revisit soon.

I took my grandson to watch milkshake live. We both had a brilliant time. The show was very good. He loved all the characters he really thought they were live. I like about the show all the characters had the same voices has the children see.on t v. Hope it comes back soon we will definitely be there.
