One word! Amazing! Firstly the portion size is massive. Curry’s and rice in the same size cartons, and the biggest Nan bread I have ever seen!! The South Indian chilli chicken was tasty, not as spicy as I expected but enjoyable. Husband had the Chardonnay Chesni lamb. Wow! Exactly like the description, flavoursome and full of tikka lamb. The tomato and coriander rice was beautiful and so tasty. Cannot wait to try some more dishes next time.

Heard great things about this restaurant. The service was excellent, so helpful, but I have to say the curries were OK but nothing special and the nan was too thick for my taste. My lamb was melt in the mouth, though. Very busy, so booking essential. Parking on street and pay car park opposite. Not too pricey and a well stocked bar. Worth a visit.

Went here for date night with my husband 2 weeks ago. It was AMAZING. The staff were prompt, friendly and never kept it glasses go empty. The servers were chatty and had good banter with my husband and I and were happy to talk about the restaurant and it's history.

Very very tasty Indian food, we had chicken dupiaza (very fragrant, slightly spicy, rich in spices, juicy chicken that has been marinated to perfection), mixed vegetables curry was very tasty, it has lime zingy flavour to it. Chicken korma was excellent as expected, peshawari naan was the best we've ever had. Service was fantastic, very attentive staff and friendly owner.

Went with family tonight for a meal. It was delicious. We all had different opinions, one was a personal recommendation from our waiter. They guys know their stuff was the best garlic chilli chicken ever, definitely the best in Lanarkshire and we’ve had a few!

Fantastic curry house in Hamilton! Super friendly staff and delicious food. Really reasonable prices as well. The owner is deserving of those awards. Just want to point out the curry house is on the first floor of the building so can be a bit difficult if you have mobility problems. Regardless of that, would hands down recommend. If back in the area will be coming back.

Was a little sceptical as whenever we walked past, there wasn’t many people dining in, but chose to try the food. Very tasty and good portions. The best curry we had had for a while. Staff very polite. We noticed there were many people ordering to take away, so is a hit with the locals.

Just tried Jholpai for the first time. Absolutely stuffed. The food was delicious with the main meal portions very substantial. Cooked to perfection, packed with flavour and very moreish. Pshwarie nan was one of the best that we have ever had.

Had such a wonderful experience here. Service was so friendly and kind and the food is to die for. Beautiful authentic well prepared super tasty Indian food. Can’t wait to come back!
