“The Crown Inn is a traditional 17th-century coaching inn with a warm welcome and famous cosy charm. The pub specialises in providing multiple varieties of delicious dishes on their menu. They have recently been sympathetically refurbished and offer a selection of excellent ales and the best home-cooked food for miles. The Crown Inn provides a great selection of beers and ales and was voted CAMRA Lanarkshire Pub of the Year in 2016 and the Glasgow and West of Scotland regional winner in 2017. The Crown Inn always has six real ales on tap. The pub always strives to deliver the highest quality drinks and dining services at attractive prices. They have a beer garden that can also cater to outside events and welcome coach parties with prior arrangements.

Visited the Crown Inn yesterday and had an Amazing meal, ordered Steak pie and omg the best I've ever had, portion was huge. Absolutely amazing so worth the money and I would travel an hour again just for that steak Pie. The service was lovely very welcoming and cosy place. Can't recommend this place enough. X.

Always get a great meal in here and at a great price. Staff are lovely and the setting is really good. The fire is lit on colder days which adds to the ambience. Well done to the team you've got it so right.

A very nice dog friendly pub. The food is affordable and delicious. I had Cheese Chilli Fries, which was supposed to be a side but could have been the main dish by its own! Highly recommend!

It was a nice day so we sat outside on the terrace. We had the dog with us as well and they made provisions for the dog as well, offering regular water bowl etc Nothing was a trouble. Our server was very relaxed and there was no rush to order food. All the food that was ordered for four of us, everyone was more than happy with their meal. It was well presented, fairly large portions, and good quality pub grub. If we could have changed anything, it would have been the weather being overcast but in Scotland you have to just accept the weather in Summer.

Great wee hidden gem went at 3 so was quiet walked in and was greeted straight away. nice wee cosy pub food was to die for had haggis fritters which was sat upon creamy mash. then had cajun chicken which was superb. portions were really good. can't wait to go try some other things on the menu

We were a large group of four generations - several under 10 - and they handled us seemingly with ease. Good food in a great location. Definitely worth a visit.

We'd searched for somewhere to have a late lunch and most places in town had stopped serving. Received a very warm welcome here and great service. Proper good food. Really glad to have chanced upon this gem of a pub. Very friendly and quick service and good comfort food.

Stopped in for a wee bite to eat after a day out. Food was delicious and served promptly. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Haggis, neeps and tattie fritters were amazing! Will definitely recommend to others. We will be back.

We had a brilliant meal here on Sunday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly and all the food was fresh and tasty! We will definitely be back.
