Oh my goodness! I'm blown away! First time using this restaurant and won't be the last. Had Tandoori King Prawns and believe me, they were huge! Fresh, tasty and hot on collection. Bombay Aloo also and Keema Naan and 2 free onion bhajis which was a nice gesture. If you're not keen on too much spice, I recommend the standard tick box. Collected at 6pm and was ready on arrival. Restaurant was busy too and a very pleasant owner and staff. 5 stars from me. Thank you. delicious.

We booked online. Very friendly when we went in. Shown to our table. Place looks lovely. The owner came and spoke to us and the waiters were all very friendly and answered any questions we had. Food came out nice and quickly and we were asked if we were ready for our mains after we finished our starters which I thought was good as you sometimes aren't ready. The food tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here. We were even offered a complimentary baileys at the end.

Fantastic experience and I say experience… the food, the customer service, the atmosphere. Made to feel welcome and cared for. Myself and Fiancé enjoyed the vegan menu, I look forward to vegan deserts being added. I would love to see some non-alcoholic beer or cider but I understand the demand may not be there.

TAJ MAHAL RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We're not regular curry house visitors but whenever we do out to curry it's here: Taj Mahal. Never a bad curry and it's in my top 5 curry houses in the UK. Brilliant chefs, courteous and polite waiting staff and the owner is a lovely guy. Recommended.

Perfectly cooked, flavoursome food, which arrived quickly with a choice of dipping sauces. Great service from the team, nice cocktails and fairly priced. Servings are large and tasty. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Once again, an impeccable meal combined with faultless service, made this evening with visiting family so memorable. They were really impressed with the flavoursome curries and the selection of pickles supplied with the poppadoms, better than their local restaurant was their departing comment. The proprietor takes pride in the service of the staff and is extremely attentive and friendly.

Busy Saturday night, so did get quite loud in there but was able to still have a conversation. Excellent food with big portion sizes, my Mum couldn’t finish her meal so had to take it home with her which she enjoyed for lunch the next day. Loved the lights being turned down and everyone singing Happy Birthday! Our waiters sense of humour was hilarious-“who ordered the vampire naan?” and “how terrible was the food?” Really made us giggle! Birthday celebration enjoyed by the whole family, and even better can take along your own alcohol!

We always have chasni for delivery and has always been fantastic. Tonight we ventured to have the dining experience. Hands down the best Iv experienced. Food/ service / price absolutely everything was perfect. I will recommend to everyone! And thank you! We will be back again.

The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends.
