Tommy Cooper Statue is a bronze statue of the Caerphilly-born comedian 'Tommy Cooper' stands 2.7m (9 feet) tall, with a natural rock and granite plinth. Thomas Frederick Cooper was born in Caerphilly, in 1921. This sculpture is famous for his red tarboosh, and appearances are large and heavy. It memorialises life a 9 ft bronze statue commissioned by the company Tommy Cooper. The sculpture is showing two of Tommy's famous headwears: fez and conjurer's top hat. Tommy Cooper Statue is a great honour to a great comedian in the Caerphilly background."
