Winding House is a museum for Caerphilly County Borough conducts engaging exhibitions on local history, heritage, and hands-on activities. Through their exhibitions, you can discover the original Victorian winding engine which runs on the last Saturday of every month (except for December) at noon. Access to the museum, collections and its resources should be available to all. The museum also offers delicious, traditional cakes, teas and coffees, high-quality souvenirs, and crafts. They afford free entry to the visitors.

Aber Valley Heritage Museum has two main communities 'Abertridwr' and 'Sengenydd' which grew around the mining industry in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. The museum devoted to commemorating these explosions and documents the wider history of the Valley achievements of residents, the old shops and buildings, memories of community events, and the community’s involvement in the World Wars. The museum has great photographs along with a vast array of artefacts and memorabilia on display in the various cabinets with two interactive touch screens. Plenty of on-street parking is available for your convenience.
