Capesthorne Hall is built in brick with ashlar dressings and slate roofs, and is a Grade II-listed building. Capesthorne Hall has a long entrance front consisting of a three-storey central block with lateral wings and two four-storey turrets. On each side, there are two-story service blocks that stick out, creating a three-sided entrance courtyard. A particularly notable listed structure designed by William Smith on the grounds is contemporary with the hall and elaborate gate piers. Today, the Bromley-Davenport family privately owns the hall, chapel & grounds. Capesthorne Hall is open to the public at advertised times and is used for special events. They are also available to be hired for purposes such as weddings and corporate events.

Macclesfield Cemetery originated on 17 May 1866 and consisted of 68 acres (28 ha) of land, including gardens of remembrance and cemetery walks, which occur three times a year. This cemetery is administered by the Cemetery Lodge Office. Macclesfield Cemetery has a wealth of historical interest. The site contains three chapels and terrace walks overlooking a stream and examples of monumental stone masonry. Macclesfield Crematorium is located within the grounds, and the cemetery lodge is on Prestbury Road. There are two car parks within the cemetery, located on either side of the building.

2025 Update: Macclesfield Cemetery provide disabled parking for visitors situated close to the crematorium.
