Well, what an amazing surprise! As an engineer I knew the background of the Jodrell Bank radio telescope, but was totally surprised how it has been made into a fascinating Visitor Centre for people of ALL ages. Yes, children will enjoy this too, as many inter-active displays - which will baffle/educate adults too! I had not expected the extensive outdoor aspect, including an arboretum. Plenty of space for everyone as a result, including school groups who are well catered for.
