TEGG'S NOSE COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS
We arrived at Teggs Nose late morning on a showery Sunday. The car park was already fairly busy but plenty of spaces remaining. We did a scenic walk down to the reservoirs and then back up to Teggs Nose and the car park. Lovely walk, beautiful views we were grateful for trees along the route down to shelter from the worst of the showers. The walk uphill from the reservoirs was very steep and prolonged uphill, we were certainly glad to be going up and not down that path. Lots of quarry equipment placed around the former quarry with information boards, which we found interesting. Once back at the car park, we were happy to use the facilities available - loos and takeaway drinks and snacks from the cafe, which we enjoyed on the picnic tables. By the time we were leaving mid-afternoon, the car park was much busier and cars had parked anywhere they could.
One of my favourite places, along with the rest of Macclesfield forest ofc. A nice place for a walk, picnic or just to find a quiet spot away from the rest of humanity and find some solice in nature. I generally avoid on weekends and bank holidays though as lots of other people think the same.
Absolutely love this place. Late evening provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy walking the dogs. It also offers some of the best sunsets across Cheshire.

WEST PARK REVIEWS
A really nice park for all the family. There is a great play park for the kids. Directly opposite the kids park there is a cafe which serves quick snaks and coffee to a pleasant sit down lunch. Food is really good. Nice skate and bike park (main area my daughter and her friend end up). Good walks around the park, nice area for dog walking (lots of squirrels to be mindful of though). Limited parking but there are areas for packing around the park area.
Great skate park area for toddlers to hone their scooters or balance bikes right up to grownups doing jumps. Lovely playground area. And just to top it off, a lovely cafe with friendly staff that's toddler and dog friendly too. Toilets and nice big green spaces with interesting planting to look at for the more leisurely visitor.
The weather made it, but Google suggested this place as good for breakfast on our way home from a weekend away. Two terraces, or you can sit inside. Lovely food, plenty of it, friendly staff and not expensive.
