Tegg's Nose Country Park has a meadow, moor, and woodland area with rich wildlife centred around a 380-meter-high hill for walking and cycling. They offer recreational facilities such as sporting fields and a large children's playground. The park is also a venue for various special occasions, concerts, and festivals. Experience Cheshire's wild hill country, where rock formations dominate the landscape. The car park provides an excellent base for numerous walks, and many events are held at the visitor centre throughout the year. Tegg's Nose Country Park's Tea Room is open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday.

West Park is a great skate park area for toddlers to hone their scooters or balance bikes, right up to grown-ups doing jumps. This is a delightful 15-acre community park located in Macclesfield. West Park features a children's playground, toddler play area, bowling green, barbecue area, café, museum, ornamental gardens, picnic area, and skate park. The park is perfect for kids, with ample play space, a skate park, and a bike area. West Park is famous for residents enjoying a serene break or fresh air. The park's parking is located at the end of the drive on the right-hand side of the main entrance on Prestbury Road.

2025 Update: The park is Grade II listed in Historic England's Register of Parks and Gardens.

South Park features 44 acres of parkland for families to enjoy in Macclesfield. They have a 659 sqm concrete skate/BMX bowl plaza, two bowling greens, a basketball hoop, an 18-hole pitch, and a bandstand. Visitors are very friendly and respectful of dog etiquette. There is plenty of open space to walk dogs, have picnics, and play ball games. South Park offers fun for all ages, including a pond, nine tennis courts, a multi-use ball court, and two bowling greens. The park has five full-size macadam tennis courts available for the public throughout the year. Courts can be booked through the booking tab to make reserving a court easy.

2025 Update: South Park provides free car parking. The park also has toilets, which are available when gardeners are on site.
