I'm not a massive review writer but I just had to for DL. The staff at David Lloyd Basildon are incredibly helpful and attentive. From the moment you walk in, they greet you with a warm smile and are always willing to assist with any queries or requests. Whether it's helping you set up equipment in the gym, providing guidance on classes, or simply offering a friendly chat, the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a positive experience. Their knowledge and professionalism make you feel valued as a member, and their genuine interest in your well-being is truly commendable. I highly recommend this leisure club for their exceptional customer service and dedication to helping members achieve their fitness goals.

Charlotte was full of insight into the facilities at the gym, very friendly, extremely assistive and willing to answer every question I had (And we had a lot!). We were sold on this place within minutes, staff were all very assertive and we had a great time looking around. Can’t wait to get started! Seems like the perfect place to change my life around.

Claudia was very nice and helpful at the reception, makes you feel welcome and comfortable, in general very nice club worth the money!

This Gym is what I would describe as a good Starter gym. The equipment is good enough for beginners, It's all easy to use and does offer free weights for the more confident lifters. It's equipment however, Some are old, Some are new and some regularly aren't available due to needing repairs. It's a quiet gym, Making anyone who is nervous about going to the gym feel a bit better about going, The staff are very friendly and happy to help. The Changing rooms are your typical Changing rooms, Nothing special but they have everything you need. Showers, Toilets and lockers. if you are looking for a gym to start your journey in exercise, Then this gym really is pretty good for that. If you're already a very avid lifter and want all the fancy equipment, then it's not for you. It's a quiet gym, Good for beginners, There are Personal trainers here, from what I have seen, they seem to be very good at what they do.

My Daughter does swimming here and is progressing really well! Great facilities! My son plays football on the 3G pitch now and then also.

Great place for all the family who want to keep fit. Great facilities and very helpful and friendly staff to help you with whatever you need.
