WAT TYLER COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS
The park has recently re-opened and it is lovely. There is so much today in there, the kids loved the new climbing frame with giant slides and the sand pit. It's very easy to park, the indoor cafe is closed at the moment but there is one outside.
Good fun for the kids, plenty of space to put a picnic blanket down but if you want or need a seat then bring some camping chairs like a lot of others had the idea of doing, as only a couple of benches to sit at.
Great place to go for walks with or without the children.....but with the children you can make it a real adventure. The swing park is currently being revamped but still such a great place to go and all we spent was the cost of ice creams.

LAKE MEADOWS PARK REVIEWS
A beautiful Park with an amazing lake, with paths to walk safely around all parts of the park. There is a children's playground, with railings around it to prevent children running out onto the paths. Also an excellent Cafe, ideal for a drink and snack or something more substantial. Well worth a visit. Enjoy!!!
Again one of the beautiful parks in the UK, it is really peaceful as well. There's a lake and also cafe inside(they were only accepting cash during our visit so keep your cash handy). I am not sure about the name of the flowers but they are beautiful too.
A lovely green space, with a lake, children's play area, tennis courts, gardens and woodland area. Ideal for a leisurely stroll with or without a dog.

GLOUCESTER PARK REVIEWS
A lovely large open space with fishing lake and well kept paths, the best two entry points for wheelchairs would be the Basildon sporting village car park or the town centre via Broadhurst place, a residential estate 5 minutes from the town centre.
Spacious park with some big open areas for exercise, as well as more secluded areas on the hills or by the lakes suitable for walks for picnics. The council recently installed little exercise areas around the park and there is also a bit fitness centre on the north side.
Lovely park with lots to do. Large fishing lake, Childrens play areas, A variety of wildlife, including geese, ducks, cormorants, gulls.
