My son has been attending this club for 6 years. He was struggling to concentrate at school and the helpful and patient instructors have really helped him to focus and stay on task. My daughter joined 2 years ago and also absolutely loves it. My son has qualified as a black belt and we have been so impressed by the level of skill and fitness that they both have reached.

My son has been going here for almost a year now and loves every class. You can see the growth that has happened physically and mentally for him since he started, it's incredible.

My daughter Izzy 10 has been going to FMA now for what must be over or close to a year. She has progressed from beginners class and into advanced and loves attending twice a week. She has also started an additional Elite leadership class in which she helps out some of the less experienced members. The staff are amazing with all the kids and she has fun every lesson. I would recommend to anyone thinking about joining to just go down and sign up, you won't regret it.

Just completed the beginners course and I think it’s been amazing and exactly what I was looking for as an introduction into jiu jitsu training. I like that everyone is learning at the same pace as it’s a beginner course. Also it’s been great to roll and wrestle with the more experienced members as well and learn from them. I think the ramping up of intensity throughout the course has been great and well timed to allow us to gain a better understanding of what’s been taught over the weeks and put it into practice. Everyone has been very welcoming and supportive throughout the 6 weeks. The atmosphere is great and all the coaches have took time to teach and pay attention to each other to ensure we’re learning etc. I would give it a 10/10 and I am looking forward to signing up afterwards.

Ive never done Jiu-Jitsu before so starting the beginners course i had no clue what to do, after 6 weeks i feel like ive learned a huge amount in such little time. We learned the fundamentals of bjj and some classic takedowns and defence in the wrestling, the coaches Sean and Mark always took their time explaining each move and even coming round to each person making sure we understood what we just learned. All the people ive met have been helpful, no one has an ego everyone just wants to see you improve. So now ive just signed up for a membership and cant wait to train more with the lads.

This gym is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever trained. The coaches are not only highly skilled but also amazing teachers they break techniques down clearly, make sure everyone understands, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. They’re patient, encouraging, and create an environment where you’re excited to show up and learn. What really sets this place apart is the community. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed like family. Training partners are supportive, respectful, and always willing to help you improve. There’s zero ego here just a group of people who love Brazilian jiu-jitsu and want to see each other grow.
