I came to driving at a comparatively late age, and was quite daunted by the idea of learning. Lance taught me from the start, and was always calm, reassuring and methodical as a teacher. He was never impatient, even in the hairier moments that happened during the course of my lessons & when the unexpected happened (like when I got the date of my driving test wrong) he took it in his stride and made sure I stayed enthusiastic and kept up the momentum, and was able to pass my test first time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone as a driving instructor. I can't imagine a better man for the job!

My 17 year old son passed first time with Lance today. Cannot thank instructor Julian enough, he was so patient with Charlie who was nervous to learn at first. He really looked forward to his lessons every week. I will 100% recommend to all.

Many thanks to Mike, whom of which I owe passing my test to. From the first lesson to the last I had a great experience, learning how to drive by a professional who also knows how to keep you relaxed behind the wheel, not just teaching me to pass the test but actually teaching me to drive in a safe and effective way, helping me to feel confident in my capabilities as a driver, skills that I will keep with me forever and now that I have my license, I can now apply on the road in day to day life. Simply couldn’t recommend enough, cheers Mike.

Just want to let people no that my driving instructor gareth did a amazing job learning me to drive couldn’t of asked for a better teacher he always believed in me and got me trough it and got me the pass hands down to him and the academy would recommend it to anyone it’s the best thank you you’ve changed my life.

From start to finish, my son was very well looked after, the prices are more than reasonable and the quality of service is absolutely brilliant. David Jonker taught my son, and my boy is really going to miss him. Friendly and engaging, patient and knowledgeable, Dave is. I would highly recommend Alex and The Green Cat to anyone wanting driving lessons. From my first lesson to my last I couldn’t have asked for any better. Alex always tailored lessons to best fit my ability, allowing me to progress quickly and made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. Alex was extremely patient and supportive throughout my time with The Green Cat which really helped me stay calm in stressful situations. Massive thank you to Alex as without him I wouldn’t have been able to pass first time.
