The food was unique and very delicious. The products used in the dishes we ordered were freshly prepared and in perfect quantity. Richly presented in appearance, warm enough and the dishes looked so yammi. The octopus can melt in your mouth, it didn't taste like plastic like in other restaurants. This is my second time to eat octopus with such an amazing taste. Once in Bulgaria /Nesebar and now in this restaurant, when I ate others octopuses in my experience they were not good enough for my taste. But here is special. One of the best meze Greek food outside of Greece. The selection was excellent and staff in hand to offer help. The service was first class and the food matched it. We managed to hot starters and 2 mains and they were enough. They had a nice selection of wines, the Crete red was worth the extra money. For a Sunday night it was one of the busiest in town, we will be back. When trying to find, it’s located under the end townhouse, but easy to miss when you are looking at the Xmas lights.

A few days ago my family came from southern Spain. We decided to eat here even though we live in York, because the food is delicious and has an authentic Mediterranean flavor

Loved the Gyros we had yesterday. The specialty coffee was great too. We were sat right next to the kitchen area and loved hearing how the head chef was praising and encouraging his team along. He was insistent on duality with them too. Fantastic busy place with amazing fresh tender meats! Cannot rate this highly enough

We enjoyed some great scones and fab vegan cake here! Loads of sweet treats and hot / cold drinks to choose from. The decor is very unique and the vibes are great

What an excellent little place. We just popped in to a cafe for a lunchtime sandwich but instead found a Turkish-inspired menu, with really friendly service and lovely food, with a large vegetarian section. Very impressed and it’s my new go-to in town.

Came here with the family, and we all absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was lovely. Our meal was so nice that my youngest asked if we could move to Greece. That only downside was the cost. With a drink each and a bottle of wine, we spent just over £180. Still, even with that said, we would return... Once the piggy bank has refilled.

Superb food and service at Taverna last night. I had chicken souvlaki. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Authentic Greek music was playing and the atmosphere felt so good. Thank you for such a great night

Came here for a couples lunch. It was quiet at the time. Service quick and polite and the food was the best greek I've ever had, including from Greece! Amazing and will def go back.

Just been for our 21st anniversary meal and we’re really glad we stumbled across this place.
