TOM LAWRENCE, MSC, MD, MB CHB, FRCS (TR & ORTH) - BMI THE MERIDEN HOSPITAL REVIEWS
I dislocated and fractured my shoulder skiing which led to a frozen shoulder following several weeks of immobilisation. Tom Lawrence was recommended to me by my physio and he was also on the Vitality Insurance approved consultants list. Tom was thorough, reassuring and explained the options and implications to me clearly. Following an X Ray and MRI scan I opted for microsurgery which Tom completed, releasing the scar tissue around my tendons and freeing up my frozen shoulder. Following a few weeks of physiotherapy my shoulder is now back in full working order. I would therefore strongly recommend Tom Lawrence to anyone else suffering from a shoulder injury.
Tom Lawrence is a fantastic Shoulder/Elbow Consultant/Surgeon. I have had Rotator Cuff surgery in my right shoulder, in 2014 where three of my four tendons were torn. The recovery has been excellent. More recently I had Golfers release surgery on my right elbow and a year or two later Tennis elbow release surgery on my left elbow. A life working with horses has taken it’s toll on my shoulders and elbows. Tom has a wonderful way of explaining the procedures and after them, he explains so clearly how to proceed with the after care, once you return home. He is still helping me now with a very troublesome left shoulder. I cannot recommend him enough and have done so on many occasions.
My husband recently had an operation to repair a torn rotator cuff. From diagnosis through to operation to aftercare we cannot praise highly enough the care he received. Tom was very personable and answered all the questions we had promptly and in a language we could understand. We were reassured he was in good hands and the operation was a success.

AYAZ LAKDAWALA, FFRCS (TR & ORTH), MRCS (ENG) REVIEWS
Mr Lakdawala was excellent as detailed above. Only issue was the Top Doctors booking system had failed to create my appointment in the hopsital's and his diary. Fortunately very helpful staff on the front desk were able to sort this out.
After own appointment, re-booked Mr Lakdawala again for a family member and as expected, a diagnosis was given completely different to GP and NHS Hospital ER doctor. New but completely different treatment started and starting to heal the knee already. Very happy and grateful.
Mr Lakdawala greeted me very courteously. He listened to my problem and offered advice about my treatment options. What I liked was he did this without trying to influence me. He gave me leaflets and verbal information so I could make may own mind up.

PROFESSOR DAMIAN GRIFFIN, MBM BCH (OXON) MA MPHIL (CANTAB) FRCS (TR&ORTH) - THE MERIDEN HOSPITAL REVIEWS
Fantastic results and immediately pain-free after the operation. As explained and expected several weeks physiotherapy treatments to fully correct collapsed pelvis following the hip arthroscopy. I'm 8 years on now, the mid 50s and able to ride my horse in eventing competitions ... before my operation, I was struggling to get on a horse, drive a car, walk any distance... fully recommend Professor Griffin. Plus his team and the 5-star care at the hospital. My sister went to him last year and her consultation pin pointed an issue no one else medically had detected before so she now has a new hip and feels 10 years younger. You have to do the exercises and keep active to fully benefit from any treatment.
I had a total left hip replacement a few years ago, I was in total pain, under Mr gryphon I had two operations, first was keyhole, the second was a total left hip replacement, I've had no problems ever since my gryphon did the surgery, and the physios were excellent and were the nurses and the rest of the team, Highly recommended, keep up the good work.
