ABBEY PARK REVIEWS

Abbey Park is a fantastic, clean, and well-maintained gem with numerous attractions. There's an excellent children's park, plenty of walking areas, and a variety of continental vegetation. Abbey Park offers many facilities, including a café and several relaxing spots, making it perfect for any season. It has a paid parking area with limited but generally available spaces, except during events or carnivals. Alternatively, there is free roadside parking on Abbey Park Road. If you visit Leicester, Abbey Park is a must-see destination. Conveniently located near the city centre and just off Melton Road, where you'll find an array of Asian delicacies and restaurants, it's an ideal spot for a peaceful escape. You won't even realize how close you are to the city, thanks to its quiet and calm atmosphere. Playground: They have children playground and adult playground, but it has been restricted Restrooms: There is a restaurant and there is a restroom, but it's on the one corner, you have to check the inner map to fond from your location of the entry to the park.

Amazing park with so many to do and see. We love this park and we come here every time we can. We love the squirrels, the ducks,the gooses,all small and big birds :),everything is so peaceful. If you are up for a picnic, give it a go,it's so nice having one in here. The park is always so clean and very well maintained, flowers everywhere. I am just a bit disappointed about the playground area,for smaller kids because they could have more swings,not only 2 for smaller kids and two for bigger ones,they could have more because when it's busy you have to wait a lot for a swing, but other than that all nice.

Beautiful Park! Absolutely stunning. Great place to visit for a full day out with little ones and furry ones, young and old. Parking available and great paths for wheelchair users also. Clean and well kept gardens and you can buy an ice cream and drinks etc on site. Bring a picnic and food for the ducks!

It's a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike, offering opportunities for leisurely walks, picnics, sports, and community events. From its historical monuments to its modern amenities, Victoria Park is a testament to Leicester's rich cultural heritage and its commitment to providing accessible green spaces for all.

I recently visited Victoria Park for a friend's graduation celebration and was impressed by its size and amenities, especially during the winter season. The park offered ample space for my kids to run around and play energetically. Additionally, the availability of toilets was a welcome convenience. Overall, I found Victoria Park to be a fantastic destination, perfect for a fun and comfortable outing with family and friends.

I enjoyed my morning walk of 5-miles. The tracks are good for jogging and walking pedestrian and bicycle tracks are marked properly. Restrooms are accessible easily and clean. Picnic tables are big and awesome. The children's play areas are good. Awesome park for dog lovers.

Great place for a picnic! Parking, public toilets, outdoor gym, kids play area and local sports! There's a number of paths to walk around some are very well manicured and there's some off-road ones too which take you through wooded areas and a stream. A large number of trees. A really nice park which has the advantage of a small car park for when you are feeling lazy and a cycle path for when you are not. There is sometimes an ice cream van there at the weekend. Totally Great place to spend time with kids, chitchat with friends.

Great place for a stroll! Parking, public toilets, outdoor gym, kids play area and local sports! There's a number of paths to walk around some are very well manicured and there's some off-road ones too which take you through wooded areas and a stream. A large array of trees and including a monkey puzzle tree which I love to visit every time!

Beautiful with play area tennis court and plenty of space to play football or cricket or have a picnic. Lovely walk through small forest or walk by a small stream.....very family friendly. Beautifully maintained and plenty of flower bushes and trees to please the eye. Love this park in the middle of the city with car park.
