A wonderful place to go for a walk, do some bird watching or walk the dog. I got some nice shots in the park and when I took my parents for a walk, they fell in love with the park and now we always go for a walk when they visit. The park has a cafe, a public bathroom, a children's play area and further in the park you can have a caravan or a tent set up and have a barbeque in an assigned area. Overall a very nice place to hang out and have a pleasant, leisurely time.

Beautiful scenery and a place to take the family for a walk or a picnic. Always clean and tidy, lots of people walk dogs there but I have never seen any mess left behind. Sometimes groups of student's gather to chat and play games but are always respectful. There are wardens patrolling and also litter pickers that sometimes drive a six wheeled cart. There are statues including the famous lion. There is a maze for kids to get lost in though the hedges are about 3feet tall so you can always see your children. The whole place is covered with CCTV for safety and the arboretum is open everyday from dawn until dusk. I visit many times a month, sometimes alone to gather my thoughts.

Loads of play equipment for all ages, both indoors and out. Lovely walks in the country side with excellent bird watching. The cafe is worth a visit, with a decent menu and nice food - there are even two vegan mains available.
