SOUTH MARINE PARK REVIEWS

Great, fun-filled place for a day out. There is a lake with lots of ducks, also swan boats to ride around in, Minchella's ice cream place directly next to it with delicious food, a playground less than a minute away for the kids to play on and a train that often circles the park which is a great time for young ones. The park is also filled with lots of trees and plants, is wheelchair accessible with very few steps and is directly next to the fair and arcade, overall a great place to go on a day out with the family.

Great park lots of spaces for all ages and animals seen lots of dogs but also ferrets being walked. Food available, playback suitably fenced off to prevent wandering off and animals getting in. Bring your own picnic lots of open spaces. Boats for hire on the lake and a steam train too (small cost). Well worth a visit short walk to funfair and beaches for further enjoyment. Buses E1 5 minute walk South Shields Metro 10 - 15 minute walk all flat so easy for pushchairs and mobility chairs too.

We visit frequently with our two grandsons who love the sand park and outdoor play area. They have had many trips on the miniature train and we always end with an ice cream. Having the toilets at hand and space to run around make the park a perfect destination for us.

NORTH MARINE PARK REVIEWS

Love the new play park in here, plenty to keep the kids entertained. Great pathways for riding bikes and scooters as well as an older play area on the top. Not far from arbeia Roman fort or the dunes. Toilets are across the road near the beach or in south marine park though Playground: New playground on the bottom, viking themed which has 2 slides, swings among other things. Older play area on the top too which is smaller, still has swings and a slide.

It looks like a small park at first, I've seen a squirrel everytime. Great place to walk your dog, with pathways through woodland, a big field with pic nic tables, a children's playground. The park originally built in the 18th century has a bowling green, I think it is 5£ for a family or 2£ a person. The park can lead you to the beach, a lovely beach, no dogs allowed May to September, bring a pop up tent, what a great day, not a penny spent.

Excellent play park for children, its a total sun trap with a good variety of outdoor swings and roundabouts for toddlers and older ones also plenty of table and benches for picnics and seats to watch the little ones safely large fields for picnics or for children to play would totally recommend this park.

TEMPLE MEMORIAL PARK REVIEWS

Of great essence, very serene and beautiful. I had an event in Temple park and it was lovely. A place to visit once in a while to unwind truthfully. Playground: Create your style. Dog-friendliness: So long as you pick your pet's poo, and dispose of in the provided disposal equipment, then I guess all is good to go.

Play badminton here and absolutely love it. Staff are always friendly and helpful, the courts are always clean and the equipment is in really good condition. The spacing between the courts is excellent, you never feel like you are infringing on the game next to you, even with some of the more wayward shots.

Beautiful place to walk with lots of wildlife rabbits foxes grouse and many more. Fantastic fields for the children to play also has a leisure centre skate park and all weather pitches with swings and slides for the younger ones in a safe closed area.
