SOUTHAMPTON COMMON REVIEWS
Southampton common is big enough for your kids and dogs to stretch their legs and wear themselves out! Plenty of space for walkers, joggers and a little area for fitness too. There is a small playground area surrounded by a fence with a kiosk selling snacks and beverages so you can grab a cuppa while the little ones play... Fancy a snack or a cheeky treat 'The Cowherds' is a lovely pub right next to the common where your furry friends are also welcome ...perfect!
I love this place! It’s always so peaceful and helps me cleanse my head. I especially enjoy seeing the ducks and swans around the pond in the middle. It’s indeed a lovely place. It’s next to a busy road but you can never hear the cars which is always a bonus.
Outstanding park! Lots to do or play park is surrounded by sand with water to play with too. Food on site and a pub a 1min walk away.

FRIENDS OF ST. JAMES' PARK REVIEWS
A lovely park that I visited many time in the 1950's! Current park has a very nice community run cafe, fantastic play areas for children, and large area of grass for picnics and "running wild". Limited parking nearby, but its target customer is local community.
Very nice little park for walking and enjoying the whether. It also has a playground for little ones and toddles with lots of activities. There is a coffeeshop but sadly it closes very early. The field is convenient for ball sports. Also, there are many picnic tables. It is really good park.
Great spacious ground..kids play area is also nice. One of the longest Zip lines installed and kids love it. Cafe has good variety of food. Public toilet with nappy changing fascility. Highly recommended to bring kids. Safe and brilliant.

ITCHEN VALLEY COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS
This is a simple but excellent pleasure. Woodland walks, lots of fun apparatus for children to explore, a lovely café with amazingly priced food and more. We only explored a little section of this haven just out of Southampton but are sure the rest will be just as good when we return. It's free entry and you just pay for parking.
Great country park with plenty to do for children and walks for dogs. The car park charges are reasonable too, especially all day. The cafe isn't large, but the food is good and everything is kept clean with plenty of space inside and out to sit. We aren't local, but we go here quite often when visiting and have used the Go Ape on a number of occasions. Would recommend.
An amazing place to take the children for a long afternoon plenty of trails to explore and enuf space for any activity parking was effortless and a well stocked cafeteria that can cater for all well worth the visit.
