A very interesting museum especially given the connection with Supermarine, the Spitfire and the Schneider Trophy. Made more interesting for us as we are local and know many of the different places referred to especially the bombing and major impact it had on the city. The group of aircraft is fantastic given that the museum is relatively small although it does have higher floors. My wife's grandfather was employed at Superrmarine before and during the war and had given some artefacts.

This is a wonderful place. It's big enough to have lots of different animals in different enclosures, but small enough to walk around easily and see everything. The layout is lovely - you follow a trail through woods, coming to different enclosures on the way. Some of the animals have their own enclosures (the wolves and the lynx for instance) but these are set within bigger areas where other animals (like deer and wallabies) can wander free. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely go again.

Went to the Titanic and general exhibition they had on. I've been to other Titanic historical sites so was interested to see how they compared. It really was very engaging and unique. Hearing from people from various backgrounds from old interviews was eye opening. There's a number of engaging interactive parts to both exhibits that bring an element of fun while also being informative. Surprised not many were in on a Saturday afternoon. Really well designed museum. Can't recommend it enough!
