Priory Park is a medieval priory in Prittlewell that was founded in the 12th century. The grounds are now a public park called Priory Park, and the Grade I listed building is open to the public. Priory Park is located adjacent to the priory. Prittlewell Priory was founded by the Cluniac Order as a cell of the Priory of St Pancras at Lewes, Sussex. Priory Park offers a beautiful setting for packing a picnic and basking in the sunshine, while children can enjoy the extensive playground. The park features four bowling greens, tennis and basketball courts, a green gym, and formal gardens.

2025 Update: Free parking, and dogs are allowed at Priory Park.

Chalkwell Park offers sports facilities that include football, tennis, basketball, cricket, a skate/BMX park, and two children's playgrounds. They are home to Metal, a local arts company hosting several events annually. The park covers gorgeous ornamental gardens, colourful bedding displays, a courtyard-style sun garden, and a rose garden recognised by the National Rose Society. There is a cafe and a function room. Chalkwell Park has a large lawn that is ideal for bowling and outdoor picnics. The hall also serves as a modern art house. The cricket ground was first used by the Essex County Cricket Club.

Southchurch Park is a popular local park covering 12 hectares of parkland that provides a wide range of formal gardens and sports pitches. The little cafe is great for a cup of tea, a slice of cake, or some hot food. There is a small car park for the main park off the road to the north of the park. There is a larger car park located across the road to the east, designated for the nature reserve area. The park is open all year round, but times are seasonal. Southchurch Park offers free parking areas. There is a beautiful model boating lake where you can spend the afternoon sailing or while away the day with a drink and eat at the cafe. Southchurch Park provides open space for games and recreation.

2025 Update: The park is a short walk from the seafront and is popular year-round for family outings, dog-walking, and relaxing. The park is wheelchair accessible.
