Fabulous visit. Our party was taken round by Davita (I hope I've got the name right). She made the visit. Very enthusiastic, marvellous with the kids (and the adults) And a genuinely nice person. The place was clean and tidy throughout and there was number of staff who were cleaning various bits around the building. The cafe was clean and tidy and the staff very helpful, And the doughnuts were amazing. Really great place to go for kids, but just as great for adults, lots to see and the fish.

Football Stadium, Arena, The Fairfield BMW East Stand, The Paul Robinson West Stand, The ADSI North Stand, The Hi-Tec South Stand, Collection, Match Programmes, Junior Blues, Club Shop, Food & Drink

The stadium is the home ground of the League One football club Southend United and With a capacity of 12,392 - It is the largest football stadium in Essex and is the current venue for the final of the Essex Senior Cup

Mon - Fri 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Sat 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Sun Closed

Being someone who travels to many football stadiums across the UK, I've seen the rapid decline of classic British football stadiums. Roots Hall is one the very few old school stadiums around today and is a must for any football fan to visit. Close to good transport links and minutes from a train station it's a stadium that's easy to get to. The ground has 4 stands of medium size for a league one ground with all of them having food outlets to purchase burgers etc at halftime. Good ground.
