3 Best Parks in Walsall, UK

We like visiting the memorial park, the children love to go on the playground before a long walk around the park and the pond They love the gym equipment too while our dog plays in the dog park next to it The memorial area is lovely and there's plenty of parking with disabled bays Everything is accessible Playground: My children love the playground here, there is loads of different activities including a zip line, spiderweb and spash pad area Restrooms: Really clean and attendant was outside incase anyone needed help Dog-friendliness: We came here for the Dog park, it's a great area and safe for the dogs to be off lead and explore without being able to run off.

This is a community treasure and has the green flag award. I visited from outside the area and immediately you can see the memorial to WW1 soldiers - just after the war this was when it was created with contributions from the Willenhall people and the work of returning soldiers. I've not explored the wilder areas but I'm told good long walks can be had. There are facilities that people want for all ages like a band stand, cafe and a lido. The pavillion hosts many community groups. If you're a local or visitor like me, do go.

Very pleasant walk through this very well maintained country park. Lots of place to stop for a picnic, clean public toilets (free), perfect for walking the dog or taking the kids on the enclosed playground.

Reedswood Park is a lovely place to walk around ,mostly tarmac path but some gravel path if you adventure further, new play area ,and brilliant exercise gym area ,also has a small box track and scate board ramp . Playground: Zip wire ,swings ,climbing frame Dog-friendliness: Plenty of dog walking areas ,loads of bins Picnic area: There are several picnic benches in the play area ,also benches all around the park ,plenty of grassed grassed areas to put out your picnic blanket.

First time I've visited in many years. Used to go to the park as a child (used to go to the outdoor pool in the summer!)and teenager regularly. Many happy.memories. It was so good to have a quick visit with my son I showed him where the cooling towers used to be when I was a child. Would like to improve my fitness so that I can go and have an amble round the whole park.

Absolutely beautiful park in Walsall great for family walks never had a problem and they've also fixed the park abit compared to how it used to be for many years apart from the locals ruining the new equipment other then that I would definitely recommend this park to anyone who just enjoys the outside beautiful views.
