I contacted Defender after hearing rodent activity in the house. Liam responded really quickly and over 3 visits him and Tom resolved our mouse problem quickly and effectively. They are such great lads and very respectful of our home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them particularly as we have used other pest control companies but with little success. Thanks guys.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this company. I had an issue with rats - in a vacant property next door and entering my house, as well as setting up home in my backyard. This has now been resolved by Neil from Defender Pest Control and I'm very grateful. Communication was clear and quick. Tom replied very quickly to my initial query and I was impressed by the written report after each visit, as well as the pre-arrival texts letting me know when they would arrive. The van is unbranded, so is discrete. Neil was incredibly reassuring from the first visit. I was very stressed about the situation and Neil recognised this and kindly made it clear that the situation could be resolved. Neil investigated where rats were living outside and where they were entering the neighbouring house. He put down poison in several places and after that had worked, he blocked the entry point. Throughout, he explained clearly what any next steps would be and why. He listened to my concerns and many questions and was very patient and helpful. Neil was respectful of my house - wearing shoe covers etc. He also took care to make sure that poison was secure so that my pet cat wasn't at risk and he always checked where she was before moving any poison around or lifting up floorboards. I think the service is very good value and the costs were set out transparently by Tom before I engaged them to work on this. Overall, Defender resolved a very stressful situation in a professional and supportive way. I hope I won't need pest control again, but if I do, I will certainly use this company again.
