The Lancaster Maritime Museum has two historic buildings on St. George's Quay, the main port of the city in the 18th century. It explores the golden age of Lancaster and the rich history of the sea and nature. Its features exhibits of the Port of Lancaster's history and the local fishing industry, with a gallery for exhibitions. The museum is open to all visitors with access to the upper floors by elevator. They are proud to offer accompanied children free.

Gresgarth Hall Garden offers beautiful trees shrubs and flowers in a lovely setting. The Gardens is open to the public every 2nd Sunday or month for £ 9. Guide Dogs Permitted. On the second Sunday of the month from February to November, tourists are welcome to visit the internationally renowned landscape designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd's spectacular garden. Gresgarth Hall Garden caters teas and refreshments.
