I have come on here to read some of the reviews after my first visit here today with my baby grandson. This is more than an attraction this is a passion and I cannot believe someone actually wanted to see more !!!! Thank you , you wonderful people who lovingly care for our animal friends.......I sincerely hope we never see more of Man's inhumanity to our animal friends but that the sanctuary can find a way to continue in it' s teaching of the animal kingdom without having to rescue.

What a jewel of a museum. The museum front isn't terribly obvious from the sidewalks, just a small little thing.... Imagine my surprise when we happened upon it on our way out of town. There is no fee to enter, but I would love to suggest that if you go, drop some coins in the donation box to keep the museum up and going. We spent an hour inside this lovely old building, but honestly, we could have spent 2 or more. There is a lot of cool artifacts and historical treasures inside.

Was with my family today at the centre. From the minute we entered the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Lunch was lovely and a good choice of different foods and cakes was available. The children were able to interact with the animals and there was more than sufficient hand wash areas. The trampoline area was a huge success and the sand pit was a hit with the youngest grandchild. So much fun was to be had in the small schoolroom and we were all impressed with what the inside area.
