Bredbury Green Primary School has currently 269 pupils on roll aged between 2 and 11. The school teachers are moving to the role of facilitators (leaders of learning) rather than ‘knowledge givers’, and they have well trained and skilled governors who are rigorous in holding school leaders to account. Bredbury Green Primary ethos is further aided by the school vision which includes essential elements such as; valuing each other, affording a secure, caring environment for learning, developing confidence and skills for life and celebrating what their children do well. Arden Primary School aims to provide quality teaching and to learn to raise standards of achievement for everyone. The school teaching and learning policy produced through a process of consultation with staff, and it sets out the high expectations they have to quality teaching and learning. Arden Primary School will ensure children benefit from the opportunity to celebrate the cultural diversity within their school and community. Their school meals are provided by Dolce, an innovative school meals company with an online ordering system. In the Early Years department and Key Stage 1, the children are provided each day with a healthy snack. They offer Netball, Dance and Football clubs.
