Decided to go for the 2 course lunch time special and my husband had the Thursday steak deal. All our food was presented nicely and tasted really nice. I discovered the chef was called Ash and the front of house staff very polite and pleasant. Really good if you also don't fancy the carvery.

Had an amazing carvery today. The meat was melt in your mouth tender & full of flavour. All of the food was beautiful. The staff were helpful & worked with a quiet efficiency. The chef is a really friendly man, he was more than happy to chat with us. Will 100% be going back.

We were a party of 8 and all had a sunday carvery bar 2 of us, the food was exceptional especially the roast beef. My wife and I actually said it was proper beef roasted properly and had a fantastic flavour and very tender. Big thumbs up to all the staff including the chefs, everyone we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere, warm family feeling, just like you’re at home with your parents. Quick exceptional service by Robert, service with a great smile! He eveb checked how our meal was and if there’s anything he can do for us, couldn’t be any better! Had a great huge table reserved for 10 of us. The meal was delicious, hot and so much to choose from! Couldn’t be happier with this lovely carvery! 10/10 would definitely come again, a very happy customer.

We visited with our 4 year old granddaughter who loved the play area. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The carvery was great the food was all hot and tasted lovely, a good choice of meat and vegetables. The food and drinks are excellent value. We could not fault our visit and look forward to going again.

Wonderful staff. Great food and brilliant environment. We had a brilliant night with friends and nothing was too much trouble. Michelle was excellent on the carvery and the bar staff were so polite. Many thanks. We will be back soon.

The staff at the Pear Tree were welcoming and attentive. The quality of the food and drink was first class. I asked for my steak to be well done, and it was done to perfection! My wife and I really enjoyed our visit and hopefully will visit again if we are in the area.

Really nice place, much nicer of a pub than many other pubs in the local area, really enjoyed our burgers and found the staff friendly and approachable. I would just say that there should be a printed drinks menu because we didn’t know how much our drinks would cost or what drinks we could even choose from.

A wonderfully cosy pub. Food was extremely good. Staff very polite and helpful. Would definitely visit again.
