THE YEW TREE REVIEWS
We’ve been coming to the Yew Tree for around a decade, it’s great to see home made food and a welcoming environment - that also allows dogs! It was very busy, which is wonderful to see. We need to keep supporting businesses. The portions are very generous, we had to both ask for ‘doggy bags’ to bring half our food home, which just means we will be able to enjoy it all over again. The staff were lovely, the gentleman who served us was excellent, he was very helpful with any queries we had however he definitely undersold just quite how big the portions are for the value. See you again soon. Dietary restrictions: They’re very good at helping with any queries given the food is home prepared.
Absolutely perfect dinner there tonight. Took Mum and Dad for tea and loved the food the place and the staff. All lovely. Proper honest good food. We will be back next time we visit Dad thank you xxxx The veggie chickpea and sweet potato roast was lush.
Always enjoy popping into this pub on my home from a busy day shopping. Always great service staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to everyone. Great range of food and drinks. There's seating inside and outside. Plus car park, animal friendly.

THE DOLPHIN INN REVIEWS
Another excellent meal in one of our favourite pubs. Great staff and excellent to food. Good selection of real ale and this pub has a cosy fireside where you can warm up on a cold night.
Remote country pub. Hard to find but it's worth trying. Large car park, two bars, TV and pool table. The food is the reason it's so popular. Varied menu, some items expensive like T bone steak at 25£ but inexpensive items too . I recommend the cottage pie, 12.50, with cheesy mash, chips, two veg and bread and butter. Definitely not a snack! Staff friendly (hi).
The Dolphin Inn is a fantastic place to eat. It is a bit of a drive for us but we love to go for family meals here, there is plenty to chose from on the menus, so everyone is happy. The food is delicious, I have never ordered something I haven’t liked. Portion sizes are great too. The prices are fair for what you get. Inside is lovely and cozy.. the large conservatory is great all times of the year, especially in the summer with the doors open. The staff are always helpful and polite. A really nice place to eat, I already recommend to everyone I get chance to!
