Went on a Monday night reserved seating for 18 of us. The food n staff were excellent made us feel welcome we will definitely be back…. Young lad on the bar was fab too him n his colleagues sang happy birthday to my two brothers …. Well done and thank you Monica n family.

Good food, nice selections of drinks reasonably priced. Staff were quick and friendly when serving. Nice spot to watch football and outdoor seating was pleasurable. Handy place to have a decent pub like this for my stay in the city.

Matchstick Man is a gem at exchange quay just sit beside the metro station and lakeside. The pub food is amazing and with a good price. They offer different special price for weekday. We love to come at afternoon enjoy the cozy vibe. Plenty free parking space.

We loved this pub, took the dog and sat outside for our burger meals! Delicious! Thank you soooo much! Parking - such a big car park for a city centre! Even gave us water for the dog and a biscuit Yep, definitely going there again.

Such a beautiful place beside the river to get a pint with friends or family. I have share such lovely conversations with some friends and couple of pints, we really enjoyed it, the atmosphere is great.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere and surprisingly good food. The staff and service were amazing. There were a few issues during our visit but they were handled incredibly well. This place is also dog friendly and my pup loves it here (everyone was very nice to him which is always nice to see).

Came here on a Sunday for the roast and it was delicious. I had the vegetarian roast, which was a cheese and onion pie with all the usual trimmings. The pie was so good, fluffy pastry and a really rich creamy filling. They also made me a very dirty martini, which was spot on. Mark our server was super attentive and friendly.

Lovely food at The Black Friar Manchester! We had the chicken and leek pie for mains and shared the wings, sourdough, and hash browns for starters everything was reallyyyy good. The outside tavern was so cosy too, with blankets and heating perfect for a relaxed evening. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Couldn't fault. Had no reservation on a Saturday afternoon but they fit us and we were ordering food within 30 minutes. Had been meaning to go here for quite a while ,we go to Manchester twice a year. I can see why this place is so highly rated. Food was yummy . Missus had the chicken and pancetta pie which was incredible. The onion rings and the chips were excellent.
