2025 Update: Strathtay House is a purpose-built care home with 40 beds. The caring team creates a warm, family-like atmosphere, where residents are encouraged to eat, celebrate, and enjoy special moments together. Everyone can decorate their room with personal items to help it feel like home. The Home Manager ensures each resident receives the kindest and most personalised care. Care plans cover medical, personal, and dietary needs, as well as individual preferences, beliefs, and suggestions from family members to make each stay more comfortable. STRATHTAY HOUSE REVIEWS

The warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the staff shines through and my uncle is so well cared for in every way. We feel very welcome by all members of staff when we visit and appreciate all they do for my uncle and all the other residents. The atmosphere is so happy here it is just wonderful and I would have no hesitation recommending this home to others.

The care home is wonderful, the manager and her team provide excellent care for our 94-year-old father who was struggling at home but is now safe, content and very happy. If he has any medical problems they are dealt with, with care and understanding. Dad is very happy living out his years at Stathtay House.

The welcome at Strathtay House is lovely. The care is given to my relative is excellent. My relative is happy, safe and very well cared for. Strathtay House is always clean and comfortable, very much a home.

My beloved Nana has been a resident at Craigieknowes care home for some time now, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding level of care she receives. I wholeheartedly recommend Craigieknowes Care Home to anyone seeking exceptional care for their loved ones. The staff's kindness, compassion, and willingness to help make all the difference in providing a safe and nurturing environment. We are immensely grateful for the outstanding care my nana receives, and we have peace of mind knowing she is in such capable hands at Craigieknowes Care Home.

Mum has now been here for 3 yrs and is totally settled in. Her relationship with staff and management is exceptional and she feels very comfortable staying here. Mum enjoys the interaction with other residents and loves getting the opportunity to get out and about when she can.

Such a great home for my grandma. Everyone is lovely and caring always joking with her and making her smile. Love seeing photos of her doing her activities. She is very loved and safe at Craigieknowes Care Home.

CATMOOR HOUSE REVIEWS

We have visited regularly since May 2023 and find the staff to be most caring, accommodating, and understanding. If help is required someone comes immediately. The manager is always visible and is very friendly ad approachable. We are always offered a cup of tea which is lovely. The trips in the minibus are very good with residents looking very happy in the photos. There is always something going on, good concerts and activities and the staff love to encourage everyone to have a good time.

Mum has been at Catmoor House for over a year. She always speaks highly of the staff, who are very caring and can't do enough for her. She particularly enjoys the activities, especially the trips in the minibus. She was recently involved in choosing plants for the garden, which made her feel valued. Management are always available to discuss any issues we have, which are readily addressed. The atmosphere is relaxed, caring, and most importantly fun.

Very happy with the care and support my father-in-law receives at Catmoor House. The staff are helpful and considerate with him and also with us the family. The room looks onto the garden with its own patio. There is also the family room are very nice and comfortable. After viewing all other nursing homes in the area Catmoor was definitely number one.
