THE CATCH AT FINS RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We have called at their smokery shop every year on our way to or from the north of Scotland in our motorhome and always enjoyed the produce. This year we discovered it allows motorhomes to overnight in the car park so we decided to try the restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed it all. Our sleep in the car park was quiet and peaceful with no problems. We will definitely be back next year. 5* all round.

I have been visiting this place for years and I am glad it has not changed a bit. Everything is fresh and every bite is like you are one with the sea! The sauces made by the chef amplify this feeling. At the end you feel like a Homeric hero, you want to return home but you do not want this tasting trip to end.

Great little find! Fresh local seafood with plenty to choose from. Owner and staff are super friendly and they will even open the farm shop for you after your meal with lots of local produce to take home. Highly recommend.

This iteration of Scotts comes with all the reliability of a well run chain, but retains the feel of an family run joint thats very welcoming. New menu now offers a value options at lunch but the main one still has the eclectic mix of posh foods and snack offerings. We love so many of the offerings. Had olives full of flavour if a little small, the white bait was super crispy and the bean hummus tasty way to start. The lobster mac really shashed it out the park moist full of cheesy flavour and plenty of lobster. Tempura Prawns awesome as usual, wasabi dip magic. Tried a mini eaton mess very good lighter than our normal tablet sunday which btw is the best get two spoons. Good selection of drinks avalible.

We sat outside for lunch in a conservatory type area. There were heaters above us but we didn't need them as it was warm enough. I had a ham & cheese sandwich and a hot chocolate. We also got a prawn starter came in a hot skillet(it was still bubbling) which added a little excitement to the meal. It was all delicious. It was quiet when we went so the service was quick.

Lovely restaurant, really nicely presented, and the staff were so friendly and nice. Food also excellent, would definitely recommend. On a different note, the fish tank was really well maintained and the inhabitants well cared for, which is lovely to see.

I came here with my wife and her uncle he's been coming here for a long time and I must say that this place is amazing the food is amazing we will be back there soon I had the steak pie with sausages and mashed potato and veg see my pictures the wife had a cheese steak Philly baguette salad as well she loved it my daughter and son-in-law cajun chicken burger and spaghetti bolognese.

This was my first time here. I had not idea about it. It is such a lovely setting. The menu is quite big and the food we ordered was all great. I had a Philly cheesesteak. There are lots of cakes to choose from at the entrance. Out the back is lovely sitting area with a view across the lake. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Can't fault it... relaxed cafe with decent home cooked breakfast at decent prices. Dog friendly and husband was happy watching people fish out of the window.
