We visited Miller & Carter for the lunch menu & was served by Eddie (yellow team!! ) who was absolutely incredible! So polite, chatty & he just provided an overall excellent customer service! The food was absolutely amazing as always & the lunch menu was fantastic value with huge portion sizes. We would highly recommend & would come back here just for Eddies wonderful service! Thanks for looking after us.

Recently visited here for the first time and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Firstly, this place is in a great location with some stunning views available. The weather wasn’t the greatest when we went, but I could imagine it being lovely sitting outside in the summer and having some great views whilst eating or drinking. The one thing I must really commend this place on though is the truly great service they provide. One of our party can only eat gluten free food and whilst this place offers a good menu to accommodate this, the day we went they were struggling with the fryer they use for gluten free diners, so the choice had been limited. We were advised of this and when alternative food was selected, unfortunately another issue came up, but the amazing staff here did everything possible to get round it and we ended up having a great meal, a great time and all this made easy and better by the brilliant team members who were working that day, so I must say a huge thanks. The food is also very, very good. There was not one complaint from any of us. We all had the three course set menu and every single part of it was lovely. I myself had the halloumi fries starter, the steak sandwich main and the banoffee pie and hot drink desert, all were excellent. I can be funny with how my steak is cooked, but they got my preferred method spot on. We will definitely be coming back here 100% and if you have not give it a try yet, I would highly recommend giving this place a go.

I have ate here countless times and every time, the food is always outstanding. The amazing presentation and wonderful flavours of all the dishes make summat to ate a go to place for special occasions. The service is always fast & friendly too. I usually go during the week when the ‘mid-week’ deal is on, which is a bargain for the quality of food you receive.

First visit to Summat to Ate today for father's day. What an overall great experience. Service was very good with lovely staff who were very attentive and friendly and always available. Food was great too, all of us where left full to the brim after starters, mains and desserts. If there was anything I would comment negatively on, it would be having a better (steak knife) and the Music was a little too loud. Apart from those 2 small points we all really enjoyed the visit.

What an unusual experience. I've not been here before but loved the hot stone steaks. My family all prefer our steaks cooked differently, and this was the perfect fun solution. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and helpful. We'll definitely be going back.

We booked our wedding meal here. We went for a 3 course meal for 38 adults and children so had the room upstairs. From day one Howard was so attentive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. ( even working round nut allergies and wanting the kids mains with the adult starters). The room was set out exactly how we wanted it and Dane and the rest of the staff were amazing. They are a credit to this fine restaurant. All the courses were received within a good time frame ( and 38 meals at a time is very good organisation) There wasn't one complaint about food. It was excellent quality. Table service for drinks which made life easier for us all. All in all we had a fabulous evening here and would definitely recommend. Our thanks go to Howard, Dane and the rest of the staff for making our wedding a day to remember.

Went for date night here, the food was absolutely beautiful. Mine and my partners steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were really friendly and very attentive to our every need. My partner proposed to me there and the staff did everything they could to make it special also gave us a free bottle of prosecco would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going again very soon.

Called in as we were passing , 8oz steak special with salad & chips small house wine or draught pint £10 each , excellent valve for money , Great staff checking everything fine thru out the meal , better half got a cheese board to finish off ! This is a must try , we will be back for sure.
