Hi, I just wanted to thank Cake Boutique for our son's 18th Birthday F1 racing helmet themed cake-it was outstanding and exceeded our expectations!! Our son absolutely loves it and his reaction on seeing it for the first time, confirmed that and made our day!! It also tastes delicious, and the chocolate cake is so moist and chocolatey, as you assured us it would be. It was almost a shame to cut into it, but we're so pleased with it! Lots of people commented on how amazing the cake was. We also appreciate the time, care and attention to detail that staff took when we placed our order, ensuring all details about the cake were taken into account. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cake Boutique to others and have had many celebration cakes from you over the years, and they seem to just get better and better. You were the 'icing on the cake' for our son's 18th Birthday!

Asked Sharon to make a cake to celebrate my wife's retirement after sampling a wedding cake at our friend's wedding. I can't recommend this lady enough!!! She is so friendly and even helped with the design of the cake when I had no ideas at all. Top tier was lemon flavour and bottom was sticky toffee. OMG!!! Honestly say both were absolutely beautiful and all the guests loved the design and obviously the taste. Sharon, you're a star and we'll be back for an upcoming christening cake.

These cakes are fantastic. The sponge and filling will not be matched by anyone. The design is truly amazing. Well worth the money.

TOP 3 MRS LYON'S CAKERY REVIEWS

We used Mrs Lyon's for our wedding cake this week and it was definitely the right decision. We had a very specific image in our head and had created a mood board to help get this across. From the initial enquiry, right through to arranging the delivery of the cake, everything was very clear and organised. We had a few messages consulting about what we wanted and our feedback on the tasting box (which all of the flavours were amazing btw!) and then on our wishes for the final cake, with a quote provided and a very flexible way to pay. On the day we walked into our first look and saw the cake and it was perfect! It was exactly how we had imagined in our heads and it tasted amazing! Everyone who managed to try it said it was delicious. Would highly recommend for a special event!

I ordered my daughter’s Christening cake from Mrs Lyon’s this weekend, a two tier cake, one layer white chocolate and raspberry and the other layer chocolate and Nutella. This is the best tasting cake I have had in a long long time! Vickie was extremely helpful in creating a design that we loved, she was super transparent, easy to get in contact with, she even came and picked up the topper that we wanted from our house, and delivered the cake in good time straight to the venue on the day (which was a Sunday!). She generally made the whole process so easy and smooth, so that I wasn’t stressed at all about having the perfect cake. The cake looks and tastes beautiful. I won’t hesitate to use her time and time again in the future!

Ordered an extra large cake for my husbands birthday party. Could not be more pleased with the way it turned out. Great attention to detail with the decoration and the extra large served everybody at our large gathering. Everybody commented on how moist and delicious the cake was. Highly recommend Vickie and Elaine and will use again in future.
