Driver arrived on time and got me quickly to my destination

Quick service, quiet & safe driver. Got there on time.

Returning from a rugby trip to S Wales last night, I rang Metro as our coach approached Bolton to book a can to take me home from the rugby club. As the coach arrived at the club, my taxi was pulling up behind it. Quickly checked it was the taxi for me, got in slowly (I need a walking stick to get about these days) confirmed my address and set off, Nearing home, I told the driver just to drop me at a small passageway where I could nip through to my residence. Paid him cash (even cheaper than he'd estimated!) and walked the few yards to my door. As I got there, my taxi pulled up, window opened! 'You left your stick in the taxi!' he said. He'd driven round 2 blocks and made 5 turns just to get it back to me! Absolutely First Class service! - Tom M Reply
