Beautiful restaurant in South Shields along ocean road! Went here last night and the atmosphere was very calm and nice. It was clean and the food was delicious. Fantastic service from David and his Dad were they were lovely! Served halal food and would highly recommend. A hidden gem!

Ordered food to take away and absolutely fabulous! Amazing food, incredibly fresh and couldn’t fault a thing! Well impressed and will be back for more! Great service to top it off!

Been here a few times, always great service. Friendly staff who are very welcoming and helpful to explain the menu and offer suggestions. Quality food with decent portions as well as a good price point.

Good döner is hard to come by in the UK. This is one among the few places that offer quality meat, fresh salad, tasty tortillas, and you feel in every way that its made by turkish cooks that are proud of their country's cuisine.

food was tasty and service was somewhat ok. I hope they can survive as it is hidden ???? from customers. I recommend mix kebab but if it is lahmacun think twice. thanks for snacks service and tea

What an amazing restaurant. Staff amazing from when you step in the door ! We were lucky to have a table with an fantastic view too. Service wasn't pressured and we could spend sometime changing our minds ????all of the choices sounded incredible! I chose a lite starter but be warned the portions are so generous I couldn't finish my starter nor my main . Couldn't even consider a dessert! 100% will recommend this restaurant everyone was very happy I've even already looked up a recipe so I can try a version at home.

Last minute evening meal at Turknaz. The restaurant was very accommodating seating five of us without a booking on a busy Saturday evening. I ordered the chargrilled salmon with prawns which was delicious! The seating area outside has lovely views of the beach which was especially enjoyable with some decent British weather for once. The staff were polite and happy to recommend a number of dishes from the menu. It's worth a visit.

The restaurant was situated at a beautiful location! The food, service and the facilities were top notch! Definitely a great experience.
