TOP 3 LEE'S FAMILY BAKERS REVIEWS

I have been driving past this bakers for many years( always in the way to somewhere else). Today however I decided to stop and get my wife some cakes. The selection is very impressive and according to my wife, a cake eating expert, they are fabulous. The lady behind the counter was lovely and very helpful. My wife has made me promise to come here regularly from now on. I have no issue with that I only wish that I had become a customer years ago. Splendid family bakers. Very happy customers.

Absolutely delicious cakes, bread, pastry and sandwiches. A must anytime we are near! Great food and always affordable for everyone. Even put in a request for a shipment of peach melbas a while back, for a friend's funeral to bring a smile to everyone. Can't thank the staff enough x

We bought egg custard tarts, apple slices and biscoff donuts. (Donuts pictured). Absolutely lush, couldn't fault it. Travelled from Hetton specifically to Lee's Family Bakers because I'd seen it online and wanted to go for over 6 months! I wasn't disappointed. The lass who served us was a treasure, too.

Love a Greggs I'm lucky because everytime I go its on the way to work so I hit the pizza slice timing perfectly, £4.50 for a pizza and a redbull? Yes please. The staff aren't the best but who cares its Greggs, it's like 8p for a sausage roll and a mocha. They only bake small amounts at a time as its such a small Greggs so 99% of the time they don't have what your after, which is fine I guess.

Probably best customer service I've found in any Greggs for a very long time. So helpful with my order on a late Saturday afternoon when they had quite obviously been very busy all day. Thank you.

Get yerself down here for a chicken bake..! If it's Christmas, get a festive bake.. even better. Open early so you can get the breakfast deal on your way to work.. At this rate am gonna need bigger pants. Crackin staff, always friendly and chatty.. big car park, coffee is nice to drink too. .

Beautiful breads, spreads and pasties, lovely staff and plenty of choices (vegan friendly). Cannot recommend Akins breads enough. Every time we visit Shields, we do our best to get some freshly prepared breads to take back with us. Such a novelty to have a lovely bakery still in your town. Would wholly recommend!

OMG.....you need to try the Carrot cake. .. so tasty and sponge very light and the brownies are just something else..lovely staff and amazing family run bakers can't beat it.

Been coming here for 15 or more years, always grest quality fresh and super friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more. A++.
