“Fountain is an excellent venue to relax with your handpicked drinks and delicious food with your friends and family. The pub offers excellent food, steaks, burgers and fresh from the fire. They have a monthly Monday Night Quiz, Sky Sport & BT Sport showing all sports, pool, darts, dominoes, and live music to keep you entertained. They also have large screens for watching football and other sports, which tend to get a good crowd of supporters on match days. Fountain offers rooftop seating, outdoor seating, live music and disabled facilities.

2025 Update: Their skilled chefs grill succulent steaks, juicy burgers, Cajun-spiced chicken, and beef ribs over open flames, infusing each bite with sweet smokiness. The pub has it all for fun local nights and family get-togethers, with disabled access and a family-friendly vibe.”

FOUNTAIN REVIEWS

We attended yesterday for an impromptu family meal out. This is our first time at this establishment. We were greeted by a lovely warm atmosphere and a lovely staff member (I later found out her name was Ria) who couldn't do enough to accommodate us and my daughter's additional needs (wheelchair user) nothing was an issue, space was made, chairs were moved all without a fuss. Food was served quickly and was delicious, well worth the money, we will be returning.

Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, good and a lot of options between dishes, hamburguers and sides. good variety of beers.

spare of the moment day out for dinner so we decided to give The fountain a try, We were served by Clare and her service was exceptional, very friendly, her knowledge about the food menu was fantastic given we also needed Vegan options so made ordering a breeze. no complaints about the food either. all in all a brilliant service from start to finish. 10/10. we will definitely return sometime soon. Well Done Clare and thanks again.

6 of us went for Sunday lunch at the red lion, small mix up with table booking but this was sorted quite quickly. So it was 6 starters 6 main meals and 6 puddings. All of which came quite quickly and was absolutely delicious. Waiting staff were brilliant and friendly. We will definitely be back thank you.

Nice pub, with some great food. Reasonably priced with plenty of choice. Leek and potato soup was nice and the fish and chips was very good. Great atmosphere and a “proper pub” feel. Recommended.

The best Sunday dinner we’ve had for years. Great friendly service from all the staff, I can’t emphasise enough how good they ALL were! . Beef and Turkey were both of great quality , veg cooked to perfection , amazing Yorkshires, with real gravy and quality sauces .

Simply the best place for having a good time with friends! Beer - the choice is all yours.

Friendly pub. Which has won numerous awards. 9 h/ pulls 120 rums so much to see and take in .staff/ service / and beer excellent. Will go back.
