“Lucy Wilson Acupuncture is led by Lucy Wilson. She holds a BSc (Hons) Ac, LicAc, and is trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, which is the largest acupuncture training centre in Europe. Lucy Wilson is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). She uses cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, and Guasha and Tuina (Chinese massage) treatments. Chen is amazing. I have been suffering with sciatica for some time, in just a few sessions I have felt great relief! The atmosphere in the clinic is calming, and Chen made me feel comfortable and well cared for. I was impressed by how gentle and effective the treatment was. I leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and most importantly each time a little more pain-free. Chen is compassion, approachable and professional - If you’re hesitant about acupuncture, this is the place to go—highly recommended!

Chen is absolutely incredible! Not only is she a skilled acupuncturist, but she's also incredibly helpful and understanding. Chen's compassion makes every session comfortable and effective. After just one course of five sessions, I feel like a new person. My overall well-being has improved significantly—I sleep better, eat better, and feel more energetic. Chen's treatments have truly made a difference!

Chen listened to my issues and talked through a recovery plan. The acupuncture was relaxing and I almost fell asleep!

Maxine's acupuncture clinic is professional, friendly and supportive. The treatments I have received around fertility and sciatica have been life changing. I am so grateful for her holistic, practical and non judgmental approach to reducing stress, increasing well-being and the empowering support and expertise she provided throughout my healing journey - I can't recommend Maxine enough.

I was pleased to have some acupuncture sessions with Maxine Smillie, a skilled and knowledgeable complementary practitioner. I had suffered quite badly from long-term Covid and this helped me recover from some minor but persistent symptoms (lethargy and nausea in particular). I know that she undertakes a wide range of work - often more serious than my own - and have no hesitation in recommending her..

Maxine has significantly helped me with her superb acupuncture skills over many years . i admire her intuitive powers to always know what to do & her follow-up advice is always exceedingly helpful too.

Lucy is an amazing acupuncturist, she has supported me through various things over the years. Most recently I had a bad experience with a practitioner in Pembrokeshire so I now drive a 4hour round trip to Newport to have regular sessions again with Lucy to support me through some menstrual cycle- related issues i've been experiencing. After just 3 sessions I have noticed huge improvements especially with the ovulation pain. Thank you Lucy, you star :)

I had acupuncture with Lucy while going through IVF last year. I went on to have a successful ivf round and recently give birth to a baby girl- and I definitely think that the treatment from Lucy played a part in this success. Not only did Lucy help plan out acupuncture to work out the best timings to support the IVF process, but she also offered lots of advice throughout. She has lots of experience with fertility issues and would offer lots of guidance during my sessions. While the acupuncture was amazing, I also really benefited from just having someone knowledgeable to talk to through the whole process. She offered me lots of hope and positivity whenever things were difficult and I will always be really grateful for the part she played in the journey- couldn’t recommend Lucy’s services enough, especially for fertility issues.

I have been seeing Lucy for the past 2 years for 2 different issues. Lucy is very pleasant and understanding of my conditions. I have noticed a big improvement and now only need to see her a couple of times a year.
