I have suffered from travel sickness since childhood, over the years I have tried many, many different remedies, all without any success. I decided to give acupuncture a go & the results have been incredible. I recently had to make an unexpected trip to Belfast on a very small aircraft, it was a turbulent journey which in the past would have made me extremely ill however after only four acupuncture sessions / survived the experienced unscathed. I am truly delighted with the results of my treatment, Kimberley is an excellent practitioner & / would highly recommend her.

Kimberley is a very accomplished and professional practitioner. She always listens and with that I know the treatment is tailored to my day to day need. She has supported me with pre op and post op back pain. Complicated with discontinuing HRT. In an uncertain world Kimberley provides some certainty in that her treatments are consistently effective. I had another treatment with Kim today she responded sensitively to what I had to say and then followed on with a treatment to my back I felt very good afterwards and had a wonderful nights sleep Having treatments with Kim has helped me manage my chronic pain.

I have been seeing Kimberley for about 4 sessions now. She has a very kind and professional manner and is always willing to listen and give advice. I have felt very comfortable during my visits and am already starting to notice a change. I would defiantly recommend Urban Acupuncture to anyone wanting a professional reliable acupuncture service. When I first came to acupuncture it was because I was having quite severe PMT problems and Hinatreated me for breast tenderness, hot flushes and all the other symptoms that go with PMT. It was very satisfying to feel and see how much I was changing. I was also suffering from a lot of mental anguish at the time;I had already seen psychiatrists,taken anti-depressants etc. How could acupuncture help me? Hina treated me for this and my life has become clearer. At one time, if I had a problem in my life it would really get me down, but now I can cope with anything. I am in charge, I am in control. I have started horse riding; I am starting an IT course in September, I intend to go back to work but doing a job I really want to. I think everyone should be able to experience what acupuncture can do.

Low in energy, with a damaged shoulder and upper body pain from work stress I needed some help! With previous good results from acupuncture I thought I'd try The Sheffield Acupuncture Practice and after a six week course I now feel strong again and in a better frame of mind. Hina listens well and creates an air of calm whilst covering your case history and reaching a diagnosis; during the treatment course it felt comforting to have that understanding support each week as she covered events of the intervening week. I'm very happy to recommend acupuncture treatment from my experiences.

Hina has a warm natural approach, with lots of kindness and empathy, to make you at ease which isthe essence of good practice alongside her considerable professional skills.

After many years of migraine misery - often daily migraines, visits to the GP, different prescription drug combinations and different types of alternative therapies I tried Andrew’s Chinese Acupuncture. Still wary of it being a too good to be true after so long, it has now been 5 weeks since I last had a migraine - something unprecedented for many years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrew. He is patient and understanding, would much rather complete a treatment than watch the clock and you can feel he is genuinely interested in getting you well.

I would highly recommend visiting Andrew. I have been very impressed with his approach to tackling the repeated retinal migraines I was experiencing. The treatment - a tailored combination of acupuncture and massage - not only addressed this, but also saw me experience some improvement in a chronic auto-immune disease I have lived with for fifteen years.
