STEVEN OJARI, M.OST - BANNERDALE OSTEOPATHS REVIEWS
I've deliberately left writing this review 3 months after finishing an extensive treatment course from Steve at this clinic. Reason being I've suffered from intermittent non traumatic lower back pain for years and I wanted to see if it came back! And.... I'm completely symptom free :) As with all these things, you as the patient have to be receptive and do your exercises, working with Steve has given me a stronger and perfectly working lower spine. Crucially I have now have a toolkit of exercises that I can use during my usual daily routine to keep me well. This was my first experience of Osteopathy, I would completely endorse this clinic. The support, face to face and online, gives blended care that really helps guide your path to recovery. The opening hours are great, really flexible and accommodating. 6 month follow up: all the above still stands, if you put the work in, this clinic can really help.
Pooja has helped me address a foot problem (which originates in my glutes!) which has interfered with my hill-walking for some 5 years. She listens carefully and is supportive and creative with the advice/exercises she offers. If you are struggling with chronic pain, try Pooja - I'm sure she'll be able to help (provided you do the exercises of course!)
Since contacting Bannerdale Osteopaths over a month ago, I have had nothing but top-rate service provided by Steven. He has been so patient and understanding and has really listened to everything I have told him about my issue. He has absolutely smashed my expectations after a few bad experiences with other osteopaths/chiropractors had left it hard to feel that there would ever be anyone that could actually help me to make progress with my issue. Happy to say I am definitely seeing improvements in my condition but understand that is it a process and it takes time and commitment. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone who is suffering with an issue that you think might be helped by visiting an osteopath, to arrange a meeting with Steven. You won't regret it.
Excellent service from Luke, found the source of my pain in the first session. I found Luke to be friendly and knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away.
Steven helped me a lot. He listens carefully and encourages self awareness and positive change. Over the course of a few weeks my symptoms resolved completely and months later I am still symptom free.
Luke was fantastic when my back completely seized, after one visit I felt huge amounts of relief and was signed off after a second visit. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

SIMEON HEMPSALL, B.SC - ACTIVE HEALTHCARE CLINIC REVIEWS
I just want to feed back about how good Mel’s sports massage was. She is very professional, friendly, puts you at ease immediately and totally knows her stuff. Having worked from home since March 2020 and having to adapt to a new way of working with constant laptop usage and virtual meetings, I had built up tight tension in my neck and shoulders. She really listened to my concerns and was quickly able to identify where the problems areas were. The massage focused on these and I felt amazing afterwards and the days following. I highly recommended Mel.
I am suffering with spondylitis in my spine. I was in pain and was experiencing pins and needles sensation down my upper back and arms. By attending the Osteopath the pain has been alleviated and the pins and needles sensation goes away but as the week progresses can come back. That is why I see the Osteopath on a weekly basis. I enjoy the treatment because it helps me manage my pain. The Osteopath listens and then is able to target the areas where I am experiencing the pain, which really works for me. My overall experience when visiting Active Healthcare Clinic is very positive as the environment is very pleasant. Also my Osteopath is aware of my condition and the pain I am in and helps me overcome the difficulties I know I would experience if I didn’t visit him.
I went with acute back pain which affected my daily movement. After treatment I was more mobile and the pain was reduced from my first appointment. Subsequent treatments got rid of my pain. Simeon Hempsall is obviously proficient in his work and also friendly. My overall experience of Simeon’s practice means I would recommend him to anyone.

Vanessa Ellis, a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy in 1994, has been dedicated to serving the Sheffield community ever since. Her journey into osteopathy began at a young age when her parents sought treatment for her at the age of 14. With years of professional and personal experience, Vanessa has developed a keen interest in addressing headaches and stress-related issues and providing assistance to individuals with fibromyalgia. For Vanessa, taking the time to understand her patients and their life circumstances is essential, allowing her to personalize her treatments and guidance for the optimal benefit of each person. While treating patients remains the most rewarding and intellectually stimulating aspect of her work, she also cherishes the ongoing opportunities for learning and personal growth that osteopathy affords. Beyond her practice, Vanessa enjoys quality time with her family, whether it's cycling, going to the cinema, or exploring different parts of the country.

VANESSA ELLIS, BSC. (OST) - ABBEYDALE HEALTH REVIEWS
Very professional practice. Vanessa, the osteopath is very helpful and an excellent osteopath. Many people think of osteopathy just for a bad back, but I have found that it can help many different types of aches, pains and tension. Also, I have recently visited the podiatrist for the first time and have already booked my second visit as I also found her to be very professional
Myself & my partner see Becky the Sports Massage Therapist every few months and she is amazing! So thorough, professional - would not go anywhere else x
Excellent work by Vanessa, I visited Abbeydale health with a back/sciatica problem, after 3 sessions of osteopathy I was moving better and had less pain. I would definitely recommend.
