After a serious accident in which a suffered a major complex trauma fracture to my pelvis. I attended steps as soon as I was fit enough to benefit from their expertise. My wife visited STEPS whilst I was still in hospital and we decided that STEPS was the only option for my rehabilitation. I was admitted as an inpatient for 6 weeks and I now attend 2 days per week for continued rehabilitation. The facilities, the food, the accommodation, the staff, and everything about STEPS is first class. I am convinced had I not attended STEPS, I would not have recovered as much as I have. They have the expertise, experience and knowledge to know a patients limits and capabilities to achieve maximum progress and recovery. Everyone is made welcome at STEPS and very quickly make you feel part of the STEPS family, all the staff have time for you and can’t do enough to make you feel at home. Thank you.

It is so good and Lucy is amazing for keeping you fit and Sophie is so good at massages, the hydro pool in extraordinary, Kate and Liz and Rebecca were amazing and the food was exquisite and the chef's were nice, also Carol was good to please send my biggest regards to Amy thanks very much Jael x

Steps is an incredible clinic. As a wheelchair user, I was there recovering from Sepsis ansd pneumonia. The range of therapies is great and the therapists are very good. I was doing exercises with computer based simulation in OT which I didn't know existed. All the staff, admin, therapists, housekeeping, nurses, rehab assistants and chefs treat you as a client and with respect and have time for you. Thank you for helping me in my recovery.

An organisation that strives to do all it can to help those who have mental health issues & substance abuse issues. There is a strong sense of community and the opportunity to work at changing your future. At the end of the day it is possible but is down to the individual.

The people who are doing well like myself are the ones to ask. Not the people who are there at the moment or have been in the past and weren't ready. If you are looking to change your life then go, and always remember why.

Without the help of the wonderful, dedicated professionals at the Fitzwilliam centre I dread to think of how my life might be now. Addiction in all forms can cause devastation to users of this service and their families and friends. The constant help and continuing support provided by the Fitzwilliam Centre to service users in Sheffield often goes unrecognised by the wider community. I hope this review may help in some small way to give people suffering from the dreadful effects of substance misuse the courage they need to take the first tentative steps on the often long and difficult road to recovery and a better life.

I came for pain killer addiction I have been on codeine for 10 years and my GP has said they only gave them to me as I was addicted so I sought out help Fitzwilliam and my worker Dave has been fantastic and Dr Rele. I have a lot of other issues going on and I'm so grateful for all that these fantastic people have done. If you really want to kick the habit then please come here

TWithout hannah and her support helping me through a detox i would have failed miserably but because of this place im off drugs and on the road to leading a normal life. Thank you
