Excellent experience i phoned about an old Doug hyde print they had Best buddies which we travelled to see in the gallery. When we arrived it was pride of place on the easel looking super Emma had displayed the print for us. The service was so good from the staff we ended up buying two pieces of Doug hyde art work, Best buddies and Love comes in all shapes and sizes thank you all.

Ordered a Sam Toft print. Arrived carefully packaged and surprisingly quick. Looks perfect, had a lovely little card and chocolates enclosed. Faultless service and a pleasure to order from. Will recommend to others and use again.

NORTHAMPTON MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY REVIEWS

Free entry to Northampton Musem and Art Gallery. Located in the centre of Northampton. no parking facilities but plenty of nearby public car parks. There is alot of interesting collections and exhibit to see here. There is a museum about the history of Northampton and its importance. On the upper floor are original artwork and storyboards of David McKee work including Mr Benn and King Rollo. There was an an exhibition on the Titanic which features props from Cameron's movie version. Located in the basement is a shoe collection which is worth a visit whether you are interested in footwear or not. There is a section which depicts the different footwear through history. There is a local gallery on the ground floor with purchasable artwork. Several toilet facilities as well as a cafe onsite.

It's a really nice, impeccably looked-after local museum and gallery space. I didn't have any real expectations in advance as I was looking to kill a couple of hours while waiting for my car to be serviced. However I was amazed to find an exhibition of children's book and TV illustrations that took me back to my childhood. Original artwork for the BBC TV programme Mr Benn which I loved as a five-year old (he says giving his age away). Wow! In addition, there was a fascinating exhibition of the history of Northampton since about the year dot. Great work everyone who put it together.

This is an interesting free local museum. In addition to the normal eclectic mix of local artefacts, it has a large permanent section dedicated to the boot and shoe industry. At the time I visited, it had 2 special exhibitions, one of Titanic (the film and the actual disaster) and a second on the Children's author David McKee.

PANEL GALLERY REVIEWS

Fantastic venue to view comic book artwork-the current Jock exhibition is a brilliant chance to see some breathtaking art at it's original size and compare it to it's printed form. Well worth a visit if you're a fan of comic book art or art in general. Friendly staff and a great venue.

Went today to see the Steve Dillon display. Excellent. Lovely little gallery specialising in comic book art. I will be returning again for whatever the next exhibition is. Jeff is very interesting, easy to talk to, and has a wealth of knowledge!

A fantastic space that shows original art in all its wonder. There is support for local artists, Jeff is always available for a chat, and you have a chance to see never before displayed pieces in a wonderful gallery. Highly recommend!
