Wolverhampton Art Gallery is a two-storey building designed by prominent Birmingham architect Julius Chatwin. Their decorative sculptural frieze on the facade formed of sixteen characters portraying the Arts and Crafts, including sculpture, painting, pottery, architecture, glassblowing, and wrought-iron work. The Gallery has a substantial collection of japanned ware and Bilston enamels.
